One of the best shaped "spin" strings you can buy is Technifibre Black Code 4S. I have used Solinco Hyper G so I can tell you that you will get at least the same amount of spin if not more.

For now, you should go with Tour Bite Soft. If you string it after 8 sets of play, you won't experience the tension loss that is so common with this string.

I have tried MANY polys. I did not find any positive qualities about AIR with the exception of good tension maintenance. Unfortunately, that is not good enough. There are several other smooth polys to try so you can at least cross this one off the list!

I have ALWAYS put an overgrip on AFTER I installed the power cap. It just makes sense. I love the flared grip that is achieved with this product. No more imprecise customization!

The best advice I can give you is not to use Diamond Rough. It is similar in power to TBS and it will be short lived as well. There is little to no control and it's too mushy. Solinco Tour Bite, Hyper G and Revolution are much, much better in every aspect.
