does the upper material/mesh feel durable? I see many VP2 users got holes in the upper

Yeah I decided to skip these shoes due to weak durability. I checked from **** this shoe and realised most of the used shoe there had this wear on the fabric so definetely its a design flaw. I expect expensive shoes to last for a long time.

Thanks, I wonder if this common problem with these shoes. I was just thinking to buy them as they are now heavily discounted so I need to consider again if they are worth in terms of durability.

Strange to have such a big difference in USD and EUR. In Europe these are 185 euros at Nike webpage. Bought the yellow colour, will receive them on friday this week.

You can order the yellow version already now for 185 euros at Nike’s own webpage and looks like they will ship them straight away.

Has anyone used the AC model on padel? Is it too slippery for artificial grass? In that case I need to buy the clay model.

If the rubber is lighter, maybe the outsole is less durable? I really hope this new model would be a little bit wider than 2.

Great, time for new shoes soon then :) And yeah in VP2 the rubber composition was the same for HC and Clay. Im not a slider so the clay version has been okay for me on hardcourts and I play mostly on artificial grass.

Does anyone know when is this shoe available? Also do you know if the outsole rubber is same on HC and clay versions? Im planning to use clay model sometimes on hard courts but I will not if the outsole rubber is soft and will tear down fast. Mostly I play on artificial grass.

At least GP Challenge Pro and 1 have a good pattern on their outsole in HC versions so I would pick those as they will work very well on Savannah too. I have used both of them in HC versions on clay without problems so I can recommend this. I am a similar player as you meaning that I always buy...

Not many real reviews on this shoe. I tried both this and GP Challenge 1. I preferred Pro -version over 1 much more due to it being more agile (1 is way too bulky), there is no toe-jamming plastic in front of the shoe like in 1 and also Pro felt more stable. The only thing I actually preferred...

Or maybe just buy something like Nike GP Challenge Pro or 1. I have tried those and they feel a bit bulky but the outsole seemed to be quite durable in both models and had more of an all-court pattern in both of those models.

Or could it be perhaps an option to go with the Clay Sole -model and use it on hardcourts too? Usually I have avoided this just because Clay -models seem to wear out faster on hardcourts as they use softer rubber compound. But in my understanding VP2 Clay model has same rubber compound as in HC...
