Just ordered TC99 custom 315/10 pts HL - cant wait to try it out, Ive played w TC95v2 16x19 switched to TC95v3 Octane 18x20 which is what I prefer now and been playing for years; also have TC97 Octane but I hit too flat for that racquet, so its just collecting dust. Very curious how TC99 18x19...

Anyone can compare K7 Lime to TC97 18x20 and TC95 18x20? Which does it compare to most and how?

yeh they were matched as close as possible for the copper swing weight etc, same balance and static weight too - strange.

Switched from 16x19 tc95 330g copper v3 to tc95 18x20 octane 330g and the octane feels super sluggish in comparison, anyone else had similar experience? Also anyone 4.5-5.0 level and above ever played with heavier racquets and then switched to slightly lighter ones w any success ? Thinking of...

Whats a good hybrid setup for tc95 18x20 thats not lively at all but rather deader in your opinion?

Tried a few hybrids in mine, didnt like the liveliness of Weisscanon Ultracable Mains & MSV CoFocus crosses at 53 lbs, slightly deader feel of Angell's hybrid 1.25 Halo Spin mains 1.20 Halo Touch in crosses also at 53lbs was a little better, could swing out more for sure without ball flying...

Unfortunately Im in FL so super humid and nat gut lasts a few sessions tops. Might give a syn gut a try but usually just do full bed 1.25 poly.

Finally got to hit w the new octane tc95 18x20 330g 12hl strung with angel hybrid at 53lbs. The control is insane, Im a flat hitter, and just pinpoint accuracy is amazing. I dont know why 16x19 is so popular to be honest, you get plenty of spin with 18x20 as well when needed, but put away shots...

Bags are OK, makes squeaking noises when you walk because of the plastic hooks on the straps but otherwise solid.

Out of curiosity how do you send it in ?

Received the new 2 x octane TC95 18x20 (coming from 2xTC95 16x19 copper), strung it up w Angell hybrid, going to give it a spin, but boy I love the PJ, even though the copper one is super classy looking, this one just looks banging ;) Cant wait to hit w it later on today.

Angell Custom racquets, they are foam filled and low flex (not stiff) and as above mentioned try multi or nat gut

I too found that I keep coming back to Cyclone from the likes of Ultra Cable and other super highly rated spin strings. I had exactly the same thought, how can they be so highly rated in spin and yet I cant say that when I played with it I felt that it was a spin monster in comparison to Cyclone.

Im a pretty flat hitter and Im switching from tc95 16x19 to 18x20 and was wondering what would be a good poly or hybrid to have lots of control but also not destroy the arm/elbow at the same time?

I bet they will make it even more bulkier :) I also own Adidas Stycons as I was curious to try out laceless system when it first came out and IM not holding my breath. They have to compensate for the lack of laces in a different way which adds weight and overall still doesnt beat a standard...

Ive been playing w 2x copper tc95s 16x19 for a few years now, and just ordered 2x tc95 18x20 in octane will report my first impressions once I receive and hit w them.

thanks for the input guys!!! Would you say tc97 is a tad more forgiving due to slightly larger head or they are on par pretty much?
