Pacific XTR Overgrip - A Great Alternative for Tournagrip?

Rips kind of fast (not as fast as tourna) but still lasts for quiet awhile afterwards. Feels a lot more rough/dry. Gives me blisters at times, oddly only when I hit my 1hbh's. However, it is my favorite overgrip.

Please Critique My Strength Training Routine

Only read a few posts. If you're lifting for strength and muscle, lower the reps, jack the weight up. Split muscles better. My workout routine 1. Shoulders, traps 2. Chest, triceps 3. Lats, biceps 4. Legs, lower back. Abs whenever, usually about every other day to every three days.

    Numb racket-hand while sleeping?

Have you been sleeping on it or in any way cutting off the circulation? I've fell asleep a few times with my arm under me and when I woke up, the arm was completely asleep and it begins to hurt when you start to get feeling back.

New Prince Rebel LightSpeed--not that cushiony

The outsole? Definitely not good durability, haha.

New Prince Rebel LightSpeed--not that cushiony

I, too, have found these not that "cushiony." However, I just love the feeling I have when I wear them, it's almost like you're not even wearing shoes. They fit my feet very well so I can compensate the lack of cushion for all of the other positives about the shoe.

    Paint peeling

I'm not sure if I'm completely understanding the question correctly, but I scratched the yellow paint off my Rebels as well in several areas just from a quick slide for a hard to reach ball.

    Best racket weight for serving?

I'd have to disagree. I believe it depends on the individual's strength. You have to find the balance point of strength vs racket head speed. Sure, a heavier racket will have more plow through the ball, but will not accelerate as fast as a lighter racket used by the same person. The trick is to...

    Yonex or Asics?

Oh, wow. If Asics has durability over Yonex I don't even want to know how fast I can put a hole in a pair of Yonex's. I put a hole in my Resolution 2's in about a month by the way, during season. 2-3 hours a day/5 days a week in season.

    really quick and urgent question!!!!!

I honestly always stay with my normal size. Others on this board have suggested you go up a half size for the CB 2.3 though. For me, the CB fit fine length wise, it was just the width that killed me.

    really quick and urgent question!!!!!

I have the same problem. No shoe has ever lasted me more than two months. Always put a huge hole in the toe area off both shoes. Hope the 2.3's work out for you, but I did find them to not have a very long life as well.

    really quick and urgent question!!!!!

CB 2.3's fit pretty narrow for me. Slightly higher arch and quiet stiff out of the box. Definitely not my shoe of choice for my picky, wide feet. P.S. I have a pair for sale in the F/S section if you're interested, haha!

    What does this mean?

1 pt = 1/8th inch from the balance point. If your racket is 27 inches, then a balanced racket would be at 13.5 inches. The points system establishes how much heavier one end of a racket is compared to the other. 11 points head light means that the racket balances at 11/8th of an inch away from...

    Lead Tape questions.

Not trying to be rude, but there's been many threads about this. The search function near the top of the screen is a big help. But to semi-answer your question, it really depends on what YOU like. If you prefer the higher swingweight, stability, etc. that comes from different lead tape...

    WTF are Nike trainers?

I can't agree more. I put stress fractures in my shins from running a few years ago. I suspect the cause to be low quality running shoes that I took past what they should've been ran in.

    What do you do.....

Yes, if you can prove you can consistently beat him, your coach is breaking some rule by putting a worse player in as number 1.

    Problem with my serve

Fuzzy yellow balls has some good videos. As far as your serve, without a video, it's really hard to say. But for me, the biggest problem I had to overcome was an inconsistent toss.

    Regarding Doubles: Competitiveness vs. Courtesy

If it's a friendly match, I'll let more go for him or her to hit. Probably the ones that are clearly on his or her side when I'm at net, just hit with little pace, I'd let go. The ones down the T, it's mine. In a competitive match, any ball I can confidently get my racket on and still maintain...

Depends on where he put it but in general, higher static weight translates to higher swingweight, more plowthrough, more stability, but is obviously harder to swing.

Which Brand Overgrip is for you?

Overall, I prefer Pacific XTR the best. Babolat VS next then Tournagrip Original. For the cold winters where I don't sweat very much, Pacific XTack then Gamma Supreme.

    best medicine for pull msucle

I thought Wolverine had an adamantium endoskeleton. =). Anyways, I'm pretty sure this is a joke because there is no possible way a pulled muscle will recover in fifteen minutes. Maybe a week or two at best.

    best medicine for pull msucle

Very interesting. But how long did it take for your muscle to recover? Because it could have possibly just needed some rest in the first place.

Has anyone experimented with Black Widow at low tensions? I've heard good things about this string but have only heard of people stringing it in the 50s. I ask this because I've been stringing full poly beds at 30-40 lbs, compared to the usual 50-60 and have been really enjoying it.

Ah, sorry to hear that but I'm glad the 300s are working out for you. If you ever decide to modify them, it would be great if you could report how differently they play. When I get the cash, I'm probably going to go with the 200s and probably add leather grips.
