    Wawrinka's backhand defies all logic

It was always ridiculous to me how Stan consistently smacks serves in the 130s while being 6 foot even. The dude is strong. Check out the massive upper body rotation on his backhand. I think that's a relatively new thing for one handed backhand technique.

    Nishikori-Cilic 2014 US Open FINAL

Damn, did Cilic start cycling too? These are some hard forehands.

    Nishikori-Cilic 2014 US Open FINAL

I swear Kei, just pull the damn trigger on your forehand.

Federer susceptible to hard hiters because he doesn't drop back?

Lol @ Agassi looking like a cripple. Objectively however, prime Fed forehand was absolute in effectiveness.

Head Youtek Speed MP Vs. IG version

Avoid Youtek Speed 16x19. Absolute garbage. Ridiculously stiff and lacked power. That one racquet made me steer away from Head for good, although I must admit the new Graphene Pro (Novak's) feels pretty nice.

The Single Most Destructive Forehand In Tennis In The Last 20 Years

A certain player's "forehand is the greatest shot in our sport."

Li Na to play Novak Djokovic in battle of sexes

It has to be Serena. She's the closest thing to an ATP player.

    Ojai Tennis 2013

Thanks for the editing job, I appreciate it. Raw, unedited footage are extremely annoying to watch.

Why are forehands the more comfortable/better shot?

    Forearm flexors are inherently stronger.

Ferrer needs to be more aggressive against the top four in order to win

This isn't about consistently beating the top 4, but rather a chance at lights-out tennis for just one win.

How do I get more depth on volleys and groundies?

Give volleys a little bit of underspin and let them "hover" deep. Works best below net and near net height.

    Weight distribution at trophy pose

For a platform stance, how does the back leg compare to the front leg? Is it affected by the amount of hip stretch?

What NTRP rating would most high school #1 or #2 singles player be?

4.0 range unless they're top schools, which wouldn't fit "most."

who wins - male 4.0 vs female 5.0

The difference is exponential as the skill level goes up. The ATP tour is very extreme. I'd say 5.0 female.

    Isospeed Baseline?

It's amazing. Soft, good spin, and responsive. Gauge runs a bit thin for durability but $3 weekly is worth.

Poly: does it give you *any* edge?

I've seen people with shiny strings and the balls that they hit come at me ridiculously weird. Once it bounces it's like a freaking geyser. I'm gonna have to say yes.

Of course. The elephant can't do anything without the serve.

    A neutral poly

Not sure if you directed that at Isospeed Baseline as well but I second it. Slightly more spin and everything else is basic.

A tennis strategy book written in 6th century BC. Take a listen!

I remember this from history class last year. China's navy and shipbuilding was the most advanced in the 15th century, but political turmoil prompted records to be destroyed and China retreated into isolationism.

What are the worst mistakes in doubles in your opinion?

Besides the obvious double faulting, making UEs at the net is unacceptable. It's a feared position meant to exert power over the court. You can't miss.

    Misconceptions about Djokovic's strokes

I do notice that straight-arm forehands like Verdasco have very sudden acceleration from the backswing to forward swing.
