Dunlop Srixon Revo CX 2.0 Tour 18x20 vs. Dunlop Srixon CX 200 Tour 18x20

Good thread info for a new CX 2.0 Tour user, I was curious about the new version. Main sticks over last 10 years: Dunlop 4D 200 Tour, then Liquidmetal Radical, then PS 90 and finally Yonex Tour G (310). The 4D 200 tour was 12.8-9 oz, I'd play a tournament and it become too much to swing after...

Dunlop Srixon Revo CX 2.0 (and Tour version)......the discussion......

whats the RA of the srixon cx 2.0 tour 18x20?

This looks similar to the Aerogel 4D 200. Basically played the best tennis of my life with the Aerogel 4D 200 Tour but I don't have the strength to wield that beast any longer (ended up being 12.8-.9 with overgrip, vibration dampener). Anyone think it might be very similar? Frame looks about...

THE MIGHTY PRO STAFF 90 THREAD

Just went natural gut mains in my PS90 for the past 5-6 months. Never going back to full poly or synthetic. Feels twice as good, basically the same spin for my type of strokes and literally lasts 4 times as long. Seems expensive at first but the string stays lively and has not broke with not...

Does countervail actually do anything to reduce racquet vibration?

Pretty sure Say Chi Sin Lo is the guy that says using a vibration dampener does not actually change the feel, it just changes the sound and people that say it feels different are suckers for marketing. (if my memory serves me correctly) Now it looks like he is saying that weight, balance...

    Prestige of AO vs RG

Prestige: 1. Wimbledon - it just is. 2. US Open - The most fair surface to see who the best at the end of the year really is/was. 3. French - My favorite tournament, but still a clay court specialist stigma to it. Other than Nadal, not a lot of other FO champions winning much else. 4. AO -...

Peak Murray vs peak Sampras at RG

And the dumbest post, possibly in TT history, goes to this guy.

Peak Murray vs peak Sampras at RG

One time match, Pete could hang with most anyone on clay. But over the course of two weeks of clay, he didn't have the endurance.

Djokovic Says Grand Slams, No. 1 Ranking No Longer Priority

Kind of what I think happened to Sampras. He literally just quit and didn't have much desire/motivation once he got to 13. He stated in interviews that he didn't think it would be broken for a while. He only focused again when people started trashing him. Joker got his career slam, that FO...

Head IG Radical MP Limited Edition

Isn't that just the head custom made? https://custommade.head.com/en/ I can't recall if they ever made the Radical available for custom though.

    Leather grips lovers

Switched from leather, to leather with overgrip to Babolat Skin Feel replacement grip. Hard and firm edges like leather but nice synthetic medium tack.

    Yonex VCORE Duel G 330 vs Tour G 330

Not to go off topic, but where does the Tour F fit in with the Duels/Tour G's? 1mm thicker, 1 extra string.

VCORE 95D - Is Yonex relaunching this racquet any soon?

Thanks, it's as clear as mud now. Hahahahaha. Maybe it's one of those things, they translate Japanese into some language then to English.

    We are the two percent!

I'm going to say the modern game for non-pro's does require lighter rackets. With an eastern and continental grip, it's much easier to swing a heavy racket. I would say a western grip takes different muscles than just clubing the ball with a 14 oz wood racket with a continental grip. You...

yonex tour g 310 vs babolat old pure strike 16*19

The Tour G 310 is basically a lighter version of the beast that was the Dunlop 4D 200 Tour. My 3 Tour G's weigh 11.8 oz with replacement Babolat Skin Feel grip and vibration dampener. They are a tad bit more head heavy than some in that range (PS97, Prestige MP, etc) but not slow. Played...

VCORE 95D - Is Yonex relaunching this racquet any soon?

Heck, even keeping the players frames straight is confusing. Try to figure out which was the decedent of the Vcore Tour G. "Well the Duel G has a G in it, but the Tour F has a Tour in it." "Or did the Tour G come after both of those or since it's in sequence, f then g. Or maybe in the...

Just bought a new Yonex Tour G 310 from TW - head warped?

Ha, should have measured that. The other 3, 27" on the nose. The bad one is 26 3/4, the exact amount it's wider. Back it goes I suppose.

Just bought a new Yonex Tour G 310 from TW - head warped?

I have three other tour G 310s, those frames measures 10 inches and 1/4 measured at the longest cross. This one measures 10 inches and 1/2 at longest cross. When I took it out of the box it looked a little off, kind of squashed. Any Yonex users experience this? Normal? Or bad string job...

Asics Speed - Any Better Light Weight Shoe?

Have owned two pairs of Speed 1's, 3 pairs of Speed 2's. Tried on the 3's last night just for reference. Definitely a snugger fit in the forefoot, little more cushion, 1 ounce heavier obviously. Probably be fine replacement for me from the 2's. To note: The 2's were a tad loose in the...

Congrats to Yonex for a winning weekend!

Just bought a 4th since they are offering a free six pack Yonex bag and free strings. Ok, that's enough, right? The 330g is amazing, just a bit too much for me now. This line is a sleeper IMO. High school player at the tennis shop near me was saying the same thing, he bought three. Next...

Congrats to Yonex for a winning weekend!

Yep, just bought three VCore Tour G 310's and have completely lost all interest in trying other rackets. Flexible, solid and plenty of juice. Now I'm looking at those Yonex Aerus shoes too!

Whose blister was worse- Nadal AO 2014 or Dj USO 2016?

I had that same exact type of blister (basically a hole in your skin once it tears) and couldn't play for about 3-4 weeks. I had to drop out of a tournament mid-match. I tried tape, etc. I've played through pain before but that blister was an insane. Can't believe he could play with that.

    Yonex quality control

I just bought three Vcore Tour G 310's, now you have me worried about grommet quality! Their grips do suck.

Best midsize rackets in your honest opinion :)

So a 95 isn't mid? So there must be a small range if there is a mid range and over-sized. What is a small range racket? 0-84? Who makes an <84 sq inch racket?
  26. T

Current USO has the worst field strength in the last 10+ years

This era over the last 10-15 years has basically punished shot makers. Some of these guys unload what in reality should be a winner but Nadal, just as an example don't get protective, with his big ole frame, dead strings and slower courts can reach it and smack a winner which in any other era...

How Hard Is It To Swing The RF97 [Poll]

Played with a 12.9oz 4D 200 Tour and I could swing that beast better than this thing. Plus it wasn't a POS trampoline.
  28. T

Is anyone else really annoyed about the new PS 97 paintjob, or is it just me?

Regardless of the look of the RF97, the new PS97 is fugly.

    Yonex

I just bought the Yonex V Core Tour G 310. Second match hit last night. I think I might be done searching finally. My ideal specs after all this time and 50-60+ rackets purchased: 11.6-.8 weight, 7-8 pt hl, 95-98 sq inch. This is the most solid and well rounded of all the rackets bought...
