Yonex EZONE 100 2025 — A Top Gun of Racquets

@Rabbit I have now gotten to hit with the '25 EZ100. Compared to the '22, I must agree with you, it is very nice. I think this one had a 31.6cm unstrung balance. Feels a bit more whippy compared to my '22.

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Solinco Whiteout v2

Submitted. YOLO. Really liked the V1 305 16m when I tried it for a few months in 2022.

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Been a while since I posted a 'holic update. Going 4 months strong with the '22 EZone 100. Just figuring out customizations and strings at this point. My only regret... is not traveling back in time screaming at 2022 me when I could've just bought it then. No Curt, just had to get the Vcore 95...

Yonex EZONE 100 2025 — A Top Gun of Racquets

Hey @Rabbit, good to hear your thoughts here. You're using Rexis Speed at 54 or lower, right? I gotta say, I'm kinda nervous to put a multi in my EZ100 just because I'm liking the control I'm getting despite how powerful it is. I've got Poly Tour Rev 1.25 at 53# in mine right now and am enjoying...

Wilson Blade 100 V9 vs Head Gravity MP 2025

Dude, trust me. As a recovering racquetholic, just pick one, stick with it, and move on. Blade 100 would get my vote if you absolutely need an answer.

Yonex EZONE 100 2025 — A Top Gun of Racquets

Haven't hit the 2025, but the 2022 is amazing. This frame really does it all. I'm still just now getting used to the clunky feeling on serve, but it's gotten much better with time. Everyone could use this racquet and be happy, I really believe that. This is the closest to a racquetholic killer...

Anyone try the Furi Arma Pro V2?

As a long time fan of the AP98, keeping an eye on this thread for next year. I play with a power 100 now as I've moved up in headsize, so interested to hear how the APv2 is received.

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

I've been lagging a bit on my exercises and my PT thinks that came back to bite me. It's been much better after ice and resting, have resumed some workouts and it feels better. In regards to the frame, no I don't think it had anything to do with that. Speaking of the EZ100 '22, I actually...

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

Well, I settle on a frame and get injured again. Had a setback with the shoulder after coming so far. What sucks is I was supposed to hit with @Chairman3 later that same day and had to cancel while he was in town here in Atlanta. Sucks. I hate how much I love this sport sometimes. I am doing...

Prince Textreme Tour 100 (310) Thread

Firing up this old thread again, if anyone (wrongly lol) wants to part ways with their TT 100 310s from 2019, a local friend of mine is looking to buy more of them here in Atlanta. Said I’d ask around the forums for him, although told him don’t have much hope and may have to settle for the...

    Head Gravity 98 16x19 (Coming in 2025!)

Held one while picking up my EZ100 from stringing. It is beautiful. I'm betting the pj really pops in sunlight, I only held it inside in the shop though.

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

Hey @Fighting phoenix! Good to see you in here again. If you saw my posts, you know I switched to the 2022 Ezone 100. I'm just getting so much more forgiveness, ease of use, easy power, yet decent control. The trade offs have absolutely been worth it, so if I were you, yes I would give the...

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

Good question. I think the lower trajectory of the Ezone 100 is giving me just a shade more confidence to go for my shots. I also feel like I get just a bit more free depth and penetration through the court with the Ezone 100 vs the TT310. I'd give the advantage to the TT310 on a few things...

    8th Gen Yonex Ezone

The 2022 Ezone 100 ended my spending spree, so hope the 2025 works out for you! If those changes you listed are accurate, I will definitely take advantage on the (hopefully) upcoming discounts on the '22 100. I played on and off with the '23 Vcore 98 for a long time, and I know they widened it...

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

Seriously agree, 100%. Life on court just feels so much easier. Just getting so much more help with easier depth and power, but from a very consistent feeling frame. Feels like the best of both worlds. I'm sure it won't fit everyone, but I know many people in real life who would never try this...

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

Also, if anyone has any thoughts on if any of my remaining frames should be donated, or if we go to donating $ to another organization, let me know. I want anyone from long time watchers of the thread like @TwinCinema, @naturalexponent, @Tranqville, @socallefty (who challenged me to the bet)...

Moving on from Yonex EZONE DR 98 - any recommendations?

As someone who is moving on from the DR98, as out of left field as this is, I've gone to the '22 Ezone 100 and haven't looked back. Amazing frame.

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

*Extended Update* Just on a side note, I used to like trying many frames for fun, as you can tell with my original posts. I don't anymore, as it's been straining on my game, it's expensive, etc. It honestly started to make tennis less fun for me as I'd get confused as to what I'd even like to...

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

Now, for update 2 of 2: So despite occasionally trying new things, I stuck with the DR98 for most of the year. In the end, I decided to move on. The main factor being it's difficult to find grommets, difficult to find more DR98s in good shape, and this was exacerbated by the fact that I broke...

Help me decide my racquet for 2024, and put an end to the racquetholism (for at least a year)

Hey @Tranqville! Been meaning to post an update. Here's post 1 of 2. First post in regards to my bet, and 2nd will be in regards to frame status: As I stated earlier last year, if I tried other stuff, I needed to donate to charity for $500 USD. One donation was just made to Angels Among Us for...

    New Technifibre T-Fight 2025

I've seen the new TFights, and they look great. Beautiful paint job, much better than the new TF40s, imo. Excited to hit the 300 (98) in the near future.
