Hartford was a (bad) D1 team when I was in college. I think they moved down to D3. There was no better feeling as a D2 player than whooping a D1 player, even if they weren't that strong.

Their athletes barely go to school and the best tennis players selectively play matches leading to losses to teams like Cornell and Boise St. They take all online classes and easy electives. I like the team and the staff but it's kind of a joke IMO.

Wayne State has become a very solid program. NCAA Finals three years ago and Elite 8 the past two years. Pretty impressive stuff happening with that team in Detroit.

Good point. It is kind of a noob look to show up in the latest tennis gear. I’m a high level player and just wear nice basic shorts (Vuori is my favorite right now) and either a graphic tee or something plain with no logos (or something from the college team I coach).

I agree with this. Nike is refocusing their investment in the sport. I'd also have to guess that the sales of their tennis-specific clothes isn't doing great. At least in the US, the trend in athletic/tennis fashion is moving towards more basic sportswear, hence why you see brands like Lululemon...
