    Diary of a Racketaholic

I have Pure Rush at 21.8 kilos and it is awesome. When I was colleying with the EZT for the first time I was hitting too many into the net. I could adjust and it was good after that. But the Shaman is much better for my style. Also much better feel for me for touch shots.

The VCore 98 (Tour) is an amazingly addictive racquet for me, too. I just always wanna hit it. Super nice pocketing feel for me. Exactly the right portion of crisp and softness for me. For me it is not really a power racquet by any means, much more in the control category. When I am not overly...

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing fine and go about your tennis without major injuries. I am back to the Shaman and really wanna try to play a few months with this one exclusively. So hard for me to do, impossible my friends would say. But let's try. Here is a clip of some good young dudes...

    Yonex VCORE 98 Tour

Hi, I am back to this racquet and I will try to use for next months. Really hard for me to do, but we will see. Here are some clips of some good players hitting with me. One of the other dudes just beat Germany's number 400:

    Ezone Tour (2022)

OK, here we go. I have tried and Ezone Tour now. Had had them in the cart so many times before and cancelled the order, hence the name of these is now: The Survivor. And man, I prefer this over the VCore Tour for my game. Much more stable, quicker through the air and more control (lower...

    Yonex VCORE 98 Tour

Still playing with this one. Maybe the longest I have hit a racquet in a long time. Even lost a match and still keep playing with it. Have a leather base grip on it and otherwise stock. Don't even know the SW on mine, and don't even care. They play close enough. I feel like my next switch will...

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Still Shaming over here. I love the VCore 98 Tour with a leather grip, and I am good to go. Maybe the racquet I have sticked with for the longest since the 93P four years ago. Just read the last five posts or so. String is HHR or TP PR. Enjoy the time with your families! Peace out, Richard!

Still shameless shaming over here! Getting the sand/beige 10 pack as well. It is a Shame!

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Hi, I hope you are all well, enjoy the spooky time and get to play some tennis as well. Just a very quick update from me before going away for some time again. @808 sent me some racquets to test (to buy). Avocado Pro Stocks and two Shames. The Avocado is so good, I love the feel as well...

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Old guy here: Man, the 90 would be too awesome!!! When I played with my old one indoors and was blasting backhands, my buddy said, man, you gotta just play with this racquet. This is the best I've seen you play, like ever... Hahaha. And, I have come to terms that I just love box beams. And if a...

Haha, it is not that old. Two of my team mates still play with this thing... ALso, two of my FCs are in this PJ, thanks to Mr @JGads

    Diary of a Racketaholic

I am at a point where I might call it game over with strings and just string DF at below 20 kilos in every frame. Just an awesome string. Thanks for your rec!!!

    Diary of a Racketaholic

I love these specs as well. It is just so good if you do not have the fastest arm and dont want to arm the ball. Just let the racquet do the work. For me, this means calm. I can grip the racquet lightly as well. And yeah, crushes the ball is exactly what it does. Also, for me lighter racquets...

Specs are 350g, 32 balance and 337SW strung. Not an H22. Had one of these, but preferred the Karen.

That such a limited player can make the finals of a Grand Slam is mind-boggling to me.

    Diary of a Racketaholic

So, another beatdown with the Karen. It just doesn't seize to amaze with these specs. I played my LK8 buddy and just lost one point on serve in the first set. 6:0. With these specs I can just let the racquet swing and fully focus on preparing early. Everything else is done by the racquet. Easy...

Blade Pro 18x20 with 305 sw unstrung. And then add some weight in the butt. But the 97D is probably the same, with a different name.

These PSVSs are super cheap over here now. 115€. So tempting. But nah, for now I can resist.

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Specs are so weird. My favourite swinging racquet of all time is the FC at 348g and 348SW. If I take off some SW with 1.20 strings, it just doesn't feel right, and I have to arm it. Nothing swings as effortlessly for me as the FC at heavy specs. I love racquets that just swing. Those give me...

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Those would be the funkiest specs unstrung. Would go up to 361g, 34,0 balance and 370 sw. I mean you never know with some people round here, including me. But yeah...

Could definitey be worth a try. And also the lesser SW is true. This thing is stable at 328sw still.

    Diary of a Racketaholic

JGads and me talked about it. Two things. First, the 16x19 is already super controlled and has a flat trajectory. Second, 18x20 is all about feel. And this racquet doesn't have the superb feel you want from a tight pattern. But yeah, I would love to hear your opinion on it. Maybe it is...

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Yes, I almost did. But there was something that keeps me wanting to hit it again, with more weight in the handle. Hard to describe, but for my swings, the 12 extra g bring more control, power and stability and feel. It is just overall much better. My arm just has to get used to playing a heavier...
