    Similar poly to ReString Zero

Even a reel of Hyper-G/Lynx Tour is way cheaper than a reel of Zero. Expensive af.

    Similar poly to ReString Zero

Thanks. Maybe I will test it some day but currently I'm in the MSV bandwagon. Testing Focus Hex 1.18/1.23 and Focus Hex Ultra 1.20/1.25. Reel of Zero is almost 2.5x more expensive than reel of any MSV string.

    8th Gen Yonex Ezone

I've had 100 2022 and I have 98 2025 :p 98 2025 is very muted, I need to use a different dampener coz with tourna sampras or yonex damp I can't feel anything. Funny thing is that I have two yonex dampeners. Blue mutes everything. Yellow one mutes only like 60%. I know it's not because of the...

    Hubi Hurkacz New Wilson Stick

Yeah but Hubi already struggles with topspin and easy power on his BH so I don't see him with a 18/20 stick. Imo Hurkacz still struggles not because of the racket, shoes or his new team. His downfall started after the Wimbledon injury and for me that's the main reason of his bad form. He still...

    Hubi Hurkacz New Wilson Stick

97D? 18/20 would give him more free power than 16/19?

Yonex Ezone 98. Do you like the New one or 2022 version ?

yes but balance was always off 31cm unstrung is hard as there is no enough mass in the hoop of te racket with such a low swingweight and static weight

    Tecnifibre balls?

I didn't play with Babolat Team all court but I guess they're Babolat's Roland Garros balls from back then right? Babolat Gold as far as I remember are decent balls. For all surfaces. Hard, clay and artificial grass. My level is 4.0.

    yeah that's almost unplayable

    Tecnifibre balls?

If you don't like balls that fluff up then why u play with Dunlop AO? On clay? You need regular duty balls for clay. Try Tecnifibre Court and see if you like it. But my bet is that the best option will be Wilson Roland Garros All Court or Clay. Both great for red clay. They don't fluff up and...

Yonex Ezone 98. Do you like the New one or 2022 version ?

I did that coz I knew that mine ezone 98 was so heavily underspecd it didn't play like it should.

Yonex Ezone 98. Do you like the New one or 2022 version ?

If it's above average then I'm sad I didn't have a chance to experience it with the ezones. I had 100 and 98 skyblue. All were underspecd in terms of swingweight and balance. 100 wasn't so bad as 98. And we've tested 5 different sticks in a local proshop. The best was 280 unstrung. 2025 98 -...

Yonex Ezone 98. Do you like the New one or 2022 version ?

Ofc there are batches. Those first rackets right after the 2022 launch were more on spec than later batches in 2023. I bought mine in feb 2023. How can you not believe a clear photo of strung Ezone 98 on a Head 3in1 Swingweight Machine/ Diagnostic Center? How can it be that my 2025 ezone 98 is...

Yonex Ezone 98. Do you like the New one or 2022 version ?

well, if your ezone 98 is 274 SW and 300.5 strung then yes - zero stability and poor comfort 2nd batch of 98's skyblues was so bad in terms of QC

    Tecnifibre balls?

My next choice was Solinco Tour. After 10 minutes of hitting on hard court it was already like a big ball of wool. Slow, soft, easy on the arm. Takes spin very nicely tho. Low-medium bounce. Hard to hit a winner if your opponent knows how to run. Not very durable for Extra Duty felt. Definitely...

    Tecnifibre balls?

My level is 4.0.I hit through the ball with decent RHS. Zero moonballing. Fast 1st serve and spinny 2nd. I play on artificial grass in summer and slow hardcourt (abrasive ish)/artificial grass in winter. But I was talking about regular Head Tour. Not XT version. Now I'm testing few balls...

Need strings that feels like Head Lynx Tour

I thought Lynx Tour was a Hyper-G clone. Lynx Tour is stiff but responsive. And it's somehow comfortable. Confidential is stiff and dead. Your arm will fall off if you string too high for example 24kg and play with it for 4 weeks.

    Tecnifibre balls?

But they are made by Bridgestone Tecnifibre Co. Ltd. which is based in Thailand. Also, didn't Yonex buy them in 2022? Bridgestone sold their BSTL stock to Yonex afaik.

    Tecnifibre balls?

Yes, it went down the hill drastically. Before covid Head Tours in golden can were one of the best balls on the market. Now they're dead and slow after 30min of heavy hitting. And they fluff up big time. Like Dunlop's Fort All Court. Heavy and slow. These were also very good before covid. Now...

    Tecnifibre balls?

Yeah, it will slow down the pace of hitting. Mischko wrote that Head Tour XT are one of the deadest and slowest balls available.

MSV Focus Hex Soft and Focus Hex Ultra?

Well, I use Artengo Speed Pro balls (TB930) and they're most definitely not soft. I've already played with stiff strings like hyperg or focus hex ultra and I didn't feel anything in my arm or wrist. Strung at 18kg. Also using stiff 71 RA Tempo 298 Iga, Pure Aero or Ezone 98 V8. So I don't...

    Tecnifibre balls?

What about Babolat Gold All Court balls? One of my hitting partners always plays with them and I kinda liked them but only played twice.
