Does leaving a racket with the string on damage the frame long term?

there will always be stress on the frame when strings are on it a stringer minimized and keeps the deformation consistent however when you use say 2 different string types at different tensions (hybrid setups) say like federers champions choice multiple stringings and leaving strings in overtime...

    Kobayashi Maru String Scenario

    racket doesn't matter

the rackets weight balance and all other properties make a big difference in how you swing.

has anyone ever shortened an extended racquet?

def wouldnt try this especially cause you might cut it unevenly or the handle could split and a plethora of other things could go wrong. also from what ive heard from people who tried the racket just didnt play the way they expected after anyway so as many have said you should just sell the...

I'm a 3.5. Does it matter what string I get? Or should I just get what's on sale?

Regardless of your level string type will matter. You wanna pick something within reason price-wise that you'll be able to get the most out of. For example, if you're not generating a lot of racket head speed your prob not getting a lot of spin on the ball so going for something like Solinco...

    Capped grommets PRESTIGE

older cap grommets were the biggest pain in the ass ever. recent ones havent been as bad but still a bit of a ***** to string

Simulate feel of 2 month old hardly used Poly

string it lower at the tension that they fell to (you can kinda get a rough estimate cheaply with that tourna tension tester or if you want something more accurate and willing to shell out the money a beers tension tester)

Why is syn gut more popular as a non-poly option than multifilament?

syngut is closer to polys than multis are to polys in terms of string properties

    Stringing problem with PPC

theres a few possible issues such as your not clamping tight enough or prob more likely since this is really just happening at higher tensions and thats your not cleaning your clamps. clean your clamps every 4-5 rackets or after long periods of no stringing

    The Clash Conundrum

going 6 months without restringing polys is kinda meh youll end up losing a lot of tension. you could go with something a bit stiffer and go with a softer string that doesnt lose tension as quickly as poly. Try something like a Head Speed MP strung with like Tecnifibre Multifeel

    Racket too heavy

My way of finding the right weight and balance is pretty simple. If i feel the weight its either too heavy or too head heavy (swingweight too high) and if i feel too much recoil its either too light or too head light (swingweight too low) you gotta feel like the racket swing like its a light...

    Blackburne Double strung 98

I have a BB DS107 and like its def a weird hitting experience they did do a nice job with what its suppose to do and you really dont frame the ball. Its also relatively heavy and you really feel the weight in the head of the racket (prob because of the extra weight added from using 2 sets of...

To customize....or not to customize....that is the question...

honestly, I think customizing a racket is a good thing however it is something that requires a bit of research. customizing just for the sake of customizing isn't good enough you should know what your doing and what it changes so that your helping your game and not just creating an unnecessarily...

    Looking for a New String

Ok, so it's around that time when I need to look for a new string to try and become my go-to string. My Current Setup: Tecnifibre T-Fight 325 Dynacore Polystar Classic 1.30mm @ 25kg I've used this string since high school and through multiple different racket...

    Not Liking Natural Gut

    Not Liking Natural Gut

Most strings are actually so close that it’s actually kinda tough to tell lmao like natural gut vs poly star classic is a huge difference poly star classic even compared to other polys cause it’s actually closer to the generation 1 polys like Luxilons Big Banger Original

    Not Liking Natural Gut

With the debate of if Poly or Gut is more powerful, I'll clarify just to shut down this dumb argument. First of all I have tested (2 rackets (TF TFight325 Dynacore) one strung with Poly Star Classic one with Babolat VS Gut (yes the one I used in the playtest for this post) both strung at 25kg)...

    Not Liking Natural Gut

for this playtest i did full set but i have tried it in a hybrid in the past but basically for me i just dont feel its worth using for reasons above. when i do a hybrid im actually prefering a lower powered multi like velocity over gut though i rarely go with any sort of hybrids nowadays cause...
