    Black Code 4s

It’s possible. It’s been a few years, I can’t remember anymore. I should really get some more of this stuff.

    Official Wilson Clash thread

I had a Pure Drive and my arm almost fell off. Pure Drives are amazing, I really like them, but could not use them anymore. I wonder if the different racquet changed your strokes. When I use a Blade or a Prestige, for some reason my strokes are different with those racquets, I seem to change my...

Is Luxilon M2 Plus similar to Element?

I found an old package of M2 and strung in my Clash Pro 100. I like the feel, but it is not that spinny and controlled compared to other things. Has anyone tried both M2 and Element? I have arm problems, so I appreciate the soft string that also happens to be a poly.

Has anyone tested their grip strength?

That’s interesting, I imagine they we would have a little better grip strength because of griping the racquet. I lift a little as well, I’d like to get one of those.

Has anyone tested their grip strength?

I have seen on social media a guy who has a contraption to test grip strength; how much force they can squeeze. Has anyone tried this? I’m curious to see if we as tennis players have good grip strength compared to your average Joe or Jane?

    Official Wilson Clash thread

This is me exactly, I just ordered a 100 Pro V2, and coming from a Blade 18x20. I ordered on the Black Friday sale, hopefully, I have better results than you. I have all sorts of arm issues, so I'm going to try a lot of configurations.

Anyone still hit with KBlade 98

My wife found two of these for 20 bucks each at a garage sale. I usually use a V7 18x20 and love it. I actually like my new to me Kblades, but they are not a plush and soft as the V7s. Has anyone softened the Kblades up? Like with silicone or something? I’ve put on two dampeners and it helps. I...

    2019 Wilson Blade

It’s a 2018 PD Tour, I think the swing weight is less than the 18x20 Blade making the PD more maneuverable at the net. I may have to add some weight to the handle of the Blade.

    2019 Wilson Blade

Played doubles tonight with it, I just can’t get past mediocre to crap volleys. I switched to my Pure Drive briefly, that racquet is so awesome to volley with, but I had to switch back to the Blade shortly after because of arm pain. Would it be the swing weight screwing me up?

    2019 Wilson Blade

Just switched in September to this from the Pure Drive. I love the Pure Drive, I really do. I can’t bring myself to sell them. However, my arm issues were a challenge. I have a V7 18x20 and love it. I get more in and I have some confidence. I feel pretty consistent and I am really enjoying...

    TW: Chris: Pure Aero

Speaking for myself, I used to think these kinds of racquets were not great for one-handers. I would usually go for a control-oriented, player's racquet based on my 1hbh. I do not think that anymore. I now use a newer generation Pure Drive and 2013 APD(based on the mood of the day) and my 1hbh's...

    Black Code 4s

Not sure how this turned out for you. I absolutely love the string and I'm coming to the end of the reel. I am searching for a cheaper alternative because it looks like the price has increased here in Canada(I got the last reel for 60% off for some reason). I had been getting so-so durability...

The Brotherhood of the Traveling Radical

Lordy, March 2nd? I haven’t posted for a few years and was just reading through this thread. I thought this was a very neat idea, that is until the theft. It’s like everyone is in the playground having fun together and some bully comes and takes the ball away. I have a Boris Becker London or a...

    San Diego March 27-30 Hitting?

Thanks, though in this case, looks can be deceiving. That was the only vid I had handy and it was 5 years ago. Now I am fatter, older, considerably less practiced and less steady. Now that my kids are into things, I get way, way less tennis time. I look forward to our hit, see you then.

    San Diego March 27-30 Hitting?

Thanks for the responses I just got to my hotel. I am attending a conference at High Tech High and finish each day at 4:30 and would catch an Uber to wherever. Friday is a wild card kind of a day. Here is me hitting:

    AeroPro time to arm problems?

I had some arm issues about 2 months ago. I believe now that it was me just trying to serve too hard. I have had a history of arm issues, but when I played with the APD this summer, I had zero problems. For me this time, I really believe it was user error that gave me the arm issues. I have...

@@@@@----------The OFFICIAL Pro Kennex Ki5 Support and Discussion Thread--------@@@@@

I am not totally sure, but I believe that TW takes an average of racquets in stock and determines a number from there. Quality control would most definitely make for variations in weight.

    ProKennex Ionic Ki 5 PSE

I've got one coming thanks to Soundbyte:). I absolutely love the 315 Ki5, and used to play with heavier frames growing up. I am excited to get it and while a little concerned about the weight, I am optimistic. My feelings are a little different from AK47 on the overhitting less pace balls with a...

Annnnddddd....I'm back. I sold mY Ki 5 a year ago to because I was loving what the 7G's. Anyway, long story short, sold the 7G's to someone in need and started to use the APD's which I like very much. However, the predictable arm issues arose and I needed something to help. I was was lucky...

Wilson Hits Homerun with Wilson Steam 99S (mini review)

With poly string, adjusting strings was not really a factor. However, the constant breakage was. I played the year with these, but the constant breaking was a problem and I sold mine.

    The Thinnest Overgrip

It's worth posting this here. Props to ChicagoJack. May be a pretty obvious statement and not worth saying, but I find if I wrap tighter, there is a significant difference in grip size. I have two racquets wrapped with Wilson Pro, one loose, one pretty tight and there is a very noticeable...

donnay being rebranded as xene core tennis

I agree, I don't think it is a wise idea to be named after a type of technology or innovation. Technology moves along and names are left behind. It would have been silly for Prince to change its name to CTS(Constant Taper System) or Head into Liquid Metal or Babolat to be known as Tungsten...
