I think this may be too low powered for me just because it's a poly. No info on TU string database but I've been playing well with a full bed of technifibre multi-feel recently so and combo with poly may be too low powered for me now...

I use this a lot, I started with kevlar/zx for quite a long time but in a powerful frame. Most recently tried it with pro's pro black code a s a main and it was too low powered. Tried with a multi in the main and I like it but the strings mis-align after every hit quite badly. I'm ruling it out...

Cost and I'm in the UK - it's going to get wet soon over winter. Also I've just switched from full poly so need to understand what works for me - I'm still cutting out new stringjobs I don't like after 10 min use so there is a chance the gut would have to get cut out as well!

It's probably worth looking at the string database, pick a multi with a low string to string friction - then look at stiffness, energy return, tension loss to see if its similar to a string you already like. Babolat origin does not mis-align after shots for me (on burn 100 racquet)...

Hi any recommendations for a multi with decent spin, durability and that does not get moved out of position after hitting the ball? FWIW I like Technifibre Multifeel though the crosses do loose tension quickly.

I've asked the same question to the TWU Professor but no reply yet as far as I'm aware. Energy return (I think - can't confirm because I can't see how the experiments are conducted) is for the string only. You probably know that is important because all strings have a much higher energy return...

Ok as a first step I'm thinking I restring the blade 104 with a soft slippy 19 gauge poly at a medium to low tension.. I'll have a look on the TWU string page to find something suitable

I have lowered the zx tension in the 104 it's at 20 or 30 lb so can't really go lower to get more power...

I thought stringing looser means the strings deform more and the ball less. Energy return for strings is 80 or 90% but a ball it 50% hence stringing low gives more power.

Kevlar & zyex is one the zyex never notched at all. What about poly/ poly I suspect there is a rule where a stiffer poly will notch first and the less stiff one won't. So does using a stiffer poly in the mains prevent the crosses notching? If you can post your hybrid combo s and which...
