That's disappointing, well reviewed line with what appears to be loyal following. I think its the best Prince has to offer and not bringing it over means to me the end of my Prince usage and on to something else.

I stuffed mine with tungsten in the buttcap and replaced the grip with Wilson ShockShield also added 3g at 3 and 9. May add some more weight to the hoop but it plays pretty well.

Yes it is, I bought the 290 added a leather grip and added tungsten putty in the handle. Plays the same but you get some more customization options.

If its within a month you may want to inquire about a price adjustment. I've gotten the difference for purchases that have gone on sales after I've bought it. The Beast line is not quite my spec but dang I may still need to pick up a 98.

This is what I did, put on a leather grip, add Tungsten putty in the buttcap and my 290 is spec'd very similarly now to the 310.

I don't believe Prince made a previous 310 version. The 18x20 one is very similar too to the 2015 model. The 2015 (orange trim) 16x18 Tour 100T and 100L are closest to the new 100L and 100 290, they differ a bit in beam thickness and weight. But no there wasn't a previous 310 model.

I did want the leather grip and after hitting with both they play very similar. I just wanted to be able to take some weight off if wanted to. I think I'd have been very happy with the 310 as well.

I'm an O Ported Phantom player. I mess with other sticks looking to get something similar but with more power. But I keep coming back to my Phantom, power on server is the only con for me even then I'm more consistent with more movement on the ball so its not much of a con.

If only I can get this in the White Out version right now.

What racquet do you currently have? There are comfortable racquets and then there is Volkl's, Prince Phantoms types that are on a whole nother level of comfort. Prince Phantom, Volkl VSense V1 Pro are 2 good ones to try.

6th time for me on the court with the Phantom, I get the potential for hitting long with the FH and floating slices. For a very flexy frame the ball seems jumps off the racquet if hit at certain angles, hard to describe like I'm hitting it with a baseball bat very solid. I"m getting used to it...

I just check too and heard it might be a couple of more weeks. This "new" racquet doesn't feel very new when its been available in some places for almost a year now. For a US company to release it dead last in its home country is a shame.

My 10 year old plays green dot, he started playing at 8 with a 23in. I made a big jump to a 26in aluminum at 9, it was a bit long for Red Ball which hurt his maneuverability a bit but not badly. He is currently using a 26in Pro Staff with a soft poly and doing great btw he is a shorty. IMO...

If Prince is no more than I would expect TW to not get involved, I mean what's the point?? To sell remaining inventory. I wish TW/Prince would make announcement one way or another. I need to know whether to stock up or look forward to Textreme 2018's :)
