Wilson Six.one BlX Team(NOT 2012) vs Wilson Six.One BlX Tour (Federer's old racket)

Two completely different racquets. You'll have to be more specific, playing style, etc.

Which one of my K-Factors is a knock off?

Just a quick search would have found these threads: http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/archive/index.php/t-127319.html http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/archive/index.php/t-210926.html http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/archive/index.php/t-118983.html

Which one of my K-Factors is a knock off?

They're both real. I have both versions. The Karbon black was from one of the earliest production runs, Wilson was sued because that term was copyrighted/patented so they changed it to karophite black.

    Babolat Propulse 4 Shoe Playtest

davedomart's Review Thanks TW & Babolat! This has been a fun playtest. Tennis experience/background: Playing for 7 years, played competitive junior tennis in Florida including High school tennis. Now I don't play competitively. Describe your playing style (i.e. serve & volley): I'm a...

PowerPlayer, have you ever tried a 6.1 Team 18x20? I noticed mine has the same specs as Blade, just softer.

My Observations and Conversations at an ATP 250

Was there last year, Moya looked like he was using a PD variant; definitely not the PS throat. And the pic was not Moya.

    Rpm Blast

No, nobody has tried it :/ I'm all for communication, but there are TW customer reviews, and DOZENS of threads about RPM Blast.

    Babolat Propulse 4 Shoe Playtest

Just got mine, black and yellow as well. Glad I ordered a size up, as these 11s are tighter than my 11 2k11s(which are too big). Very comfortable, but had to use the heel strap because the heel is wide. I'll post my review in a couple of weeks. Thanks TW & Babolat!

The 2013 BLX Blade 93 review everyone was afraid to write.

How did it get such a glowing review from TW? TW really slammed the past BLX version.

A little confused on racquet I ended up with

The Pure Storm LTD is definitely not stiff and powerful! It's one of the most low-powered racquets I've tried. Plus it's buttery soft.

RDC rating on wilson six one 95 blx & kfactor versions

I think the K-Factors were also stiffer than the BLXs.

Should I stock Wilson Natural Gut now? (before they become BT7?)

Your location is also an obvious attempt at trolling, unless you're Kim Jong Un, your chance of getting internet is very low.

    PV Audio's Playtest Thread

Is BHS the same as the old Cyber Flash, or the new one?
  18. D

    will it be boardy...

Not necessarily. It depends what tension, and what poly. Smooth polys will usually be softer, but there are exceptions (i.e Black Widow. Soft polys include BHB, Big Ace, Polystar Energy, Genesis Black Magic, and Dunlop Black Widow. They won't feel boardy unless you string them really tightly.

    My New Racquet Dilema

Which blx are you talking about? The 16x18 or 18x20? I have the old k-factor (18x20). I have leaded it up to more of a baseliner spec(see sig.), but I could probably just add a leather grip to make it more headlight, or just wrap more lead tape around the bare handle. Either way, make sure you...

    Bonjour from Babolat

Actually many past Babolat VS users are using Wilson now, and think it's the same. I haven't personally tried either, but one of my hitting partners can't tell the difference between old VS and wilson.

What Tecnifibre string should I use?

I think Red Code has the best Tension Maintenance, though not as soft as Black code. Black code is a bit more powerful, but I don't like the plasticky feel. Haven't tried Ruff Code.

*** Long Live The Radicals ***

Amen! Oops, sorry if that offends anyone  If I got upset every time someone talked about friends of theirs saying something that was insulting, I would be a very angry person. And El Zed was the one who derailed the thread by acting offended. There is such a thing as freedom of speech...

*** Long Live The Radicals ***

Give me a break! You are taking this way too far El Zed. You're insulted? He even wrote not to insult anybody in the original post, and it was his friends that said that; not him. It's similar to someone saying Jesus Christ when they're mad. Are you that thin-skinned and self-righteous? And...

Is Topspin CF and Gosen OGSM still the best bang for your buck hybrid??

It is, if you like a crisp cross. I liked Forten Sweet as a cross, but that was when I had arm problems and needed the softness. Will try spiral flex as a cross sometime soon, as I don't have any Gosen.

    2012 Gamma Prototype Playtest!

My Playtest Firstly, thanks to TW & Gamma. Secondly, what a weirdly shaped string! It was a pain in the ass to string because I tried to keep it flat. I know that sounds weird, but that's the way it was. Tension used for playtest: 54 Regular string set up: Pro Supex Big Ace at 56 LBS...
