    Wilson Blade V9 2024

I've been using Blade 100 16x19 for a couple months, so honeymoon should be over by now. Gotta say, best racket I've used. I just can't fault it at anything. If I make a mistake, it never feels like racket was lacking something, which is what I felt with all my previous ones. This one just...

    Head Gravity Pro club!

Will be selling my Gpro Aux in a few days. It served me well for over a year, but while it has lots of great qualities, it's a bit too demanding in a more competetive setup. Mine is 337 strung with overgrip and I can play well with it for about 40 mins. Really paint lines, super precise and...

    Blade 100 V9 - Swallow your pride..!!!

1.25mm indeed. Not sure if I would put dampener on that racket, it's not stiff enough to hurt your arm and you'll want as much feedback as possible. It's a bit muted but it does have some crisp to it to feel the ball well.

    Blade 100 V9 - Swallow your pride..!!!

Had a second hit with V9 100 today, even though I bought it 2 weeks ago, my wisdom tooth decided to go bad right after first session, could only give 30% effort today since im recovering. I cannot believe a 320g strung racket can be as stable as some 350g+ rackets I tried before. There's...

    Blade 100 V9 - Swallow your pride..!!!

I actually just got mine delivered yesterday, played only one session, so will write a proper review after more playing. But I agree, it just does so many things well. It's light and whippy, but super stable somehow. I play GPro these days mostly and my game improved pretty much immediately, I...

    Which 100?

Latest sessions I find myself switching between my Gpro and PS 98. I play Gpro for half an hour then pick up PS and can feel the difference in the plough through, PS just has that extra bang behind it. Then Gpro feels great to shape the ball and hit angles. Still trying to figure out which one...

If that was a viable option I would have done that already

2023 Yonex VCore Pro Racquets / 2024 Percept Racquets

I'm 99% sure I will go for 100D as my switch from Gpro. On paper and in reviews it seems to do what Im looking for so should be a safe bet. In that case, what would you guys recommend as a string choice? I usually string with Alu power, Lynx, black and ice code, but could try something new...

    Pure Strike 2024

That feels so counterintuitive. I was considering 100 to be more honest about my game level, but if the bigger head size doesn't give the noticeable benefit in this case, then perhaps 98 is a better option.

    Pure Strike 2024

So it's safe to assume if were to put a bit of lead in the hoop, it should bring the power closer to 98? There's also a difference of stiffness, but stiffness measurements seem to not be too accurate.

    Pure Strike 2024

Anyone find the 98 more demanding to use than the 100? I get the higher SW will make it a bit slower, but besides that, how's the forgiveness and sweetspot between the sizes? I saw lots of comments saying that the 98 has a bigger sweetspot which I would expect from a 100. I used to use the...

    Which 100?

It's quite dire in UK actually. Big demand and barely a few places offer demos. Then they either charge a lot, or are out of demos, or missing grips, or only on old rackets. They don't send demos to UK either I see Blade and Speed are close in poll. I probably should've added Ezone as well...

    Which 100?

London  To be exact, you can keep it for a week, but they recommend no more than 10 mins of play. 20 pounds for the demo, 20 pounds for stringing job.

    Which 100?

I haven't tried it, trying to feel out which option is best so far.

    Which 100?

Not at all, i used to string pure strike between 48 and 52lbs. My Gpro currently 40-48. Only had arm issue with that particular strike.

    Which 100?

I think my gpro is already overweight on top of that, 337 strung with overgrip. I used to play with 350 PS98 and i've been reducing weight ever since, I can swing heavy but under pressure you need some agility as well. I wouldn't consider previous Vcore Pro either, it was said to be very low...

    Which 100?

Hello! A year ago I switched to the new GPro, previously playing PS98. While my technique improved, lately I feel that I could use some more help from the racket. What Im looking for - a bit more power and a bit easier to swing. I can play with Gpro just fine, but after an hour I start...

2023 Yonex VCore Pro Racquets / 2024 Percept Racquets

Where I live, you can demo rackets only in one place and it costs 40 pounds, then they ask you to not play for more than 10 minutes. What's even the point of it then? Which is why I always do a thorough research before buying one. My first proper racket was pure strike 98 16x19. That one is...

2023 Yonex VCore Pro Racquets / 2024 Percept Racquets

Thanks! Have you or anyone here tried the new PS 100 16x20 and Blade V9 100? Those 2 plus 100d are main contenders for a switch for me right now. Seems like quite similar rackets but im sure they play differently. I am looking for something that's not too sluggish with decent flatter penetration...

2023 Yonex VCore Pro Racquets / 2024 Percept Racquets

How does the 100d compare to Gravity Pro? In terms of manouverability, power and spin? Looking for another 100sq that's a bit easier to use with a bit more power.

    Head Auxetic Gravity Official Thread

Came back last week after 1.5 month of break due to courts being renovated and then having a surgery. First day the racket played a bit planky, figured it was due to strings being a bit old, so restrung it with Alu Power at 48lbs. I was right about the strings and this racket never played...

    1) Yes, but this one feels even better. I had previous MP in my hands but the new ones feel like holding something that Porsche made haha 2) Gen 3 3) Nope 4) Unfortunately no, I don't have a way of measuring it.

Ordered my Gravity Pro on Thursday, finally got to hit with it today! Strung @50lbs with Lynx Tour, static weight around 337 with overgrip - I asked the shop to weight racket before stringing so it's not overspec. I've been playing with weighted up Pure Strike 16x19 for past 2 years to give...

I played a few times with MP of my partner whenever string broke in my pure strike - it always surprise me how hard I can hit with it considering how light weight it is. For me it will be the Pro though, I love the stability of heavier frames and the confidence they give me. Just 2 weeks left!
