    Blade 100 V9 - Swallow your pride..!!!

I got my Blade 100 v9 but haven't strung it up yet. Suggestions on a string to go with this racquet? The demo I had came with Wilson Resolve which didn't play bad. I usually put Hyper G 18G in my racquets but open to suggestions.

    Tennis Warehouse Playtest - Gamma Sapphire 1.23 & 1.28

Do Sapphire play better than HyperG round in terms of spin, power, and tension maintenance?

    Tennis Warehouse Playtest - Gamma Sapphire 1.23 & 1.28

A few of you use Hyper G 17G or 18G and wondering how Sapphire comes to it? Is it worth switching over from Hyper-G 17/18 gauge?

    Blade 100 V9 - Swallow your pride..!!!

As a long time Blade 98 v7 user, the new Blade 100 v9 is definitely a pleasant surprise. The Blade 100 v9 definitely has a big sweet spot and is easier to serve due to a much lower SW. Mine came in around SW of 312 with 16g Wilson Revolve string, yeah definitely on the lighter side based on TW...

    Hyper-G replacement

Thanks for all the great feedback. I don't know if such a string exist but looking for more spin on serves while maintaining the feel, comfort, power, and tension maintenance of Hyper-G. I have tried Poly Tour Pro but found it rather stiff but that could be because the versions that I tried...

    Hyper-G replacement

I have been playing with Hyper-G 18g for a few years now and love the overall spin, power, and tension maintenance. I noticed recently new strings on the market from Zero, Toroline, and Grapplesnake. Is there a better string than Hyper-G?

    Dunlop CX 2024 line

So after stringing up my newly purchased CX 400 Tour with Hyper G 18g at 50lbs mains and 46lbs crosses, I got the following specs. Newly purchased SW 317 static weight 316g Balance 4pts HL I took it out for some serving and hitting and love how well it serves. It isn't as maneuverable as...

    Dunlop CX 2024 line

So I had a chance to get the specs and Dunlop quality control is bad. CX 200 Tour 16x19 strung SW - 312 static weight - 329g CX 200 Tour 18x20 strung SW - 301 static weight - 329g CX 400 Tour - SW - 338 - that is not a typo, static weight 323g HL - 1 pts or 33.75cm The CX 200 Tour 18x20 SW...

    Dunlop CX 2024 line

Got my cx 200 tour 16x19 and 18x20 and 400 tour demos today. I had the old 2021 cx tour 18x20 and love the precision but it lacked put away power and went back to the Blade 98 b7 but that was in 2021. Looking forward to hitting some balls tomorrow to see if there has been any updates or changes.

    Yonex VCORE 98 Tour

I am demoed the VCORE 98 and VCORE 95 2023 version and prefer the 95 for the precision and felt the VCORE 98 lacked control and balls would sail long. I will need to demo the VCORE 98 Tour if his racquets is more stable and allows for better control.

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

Still have it in my bag although I am currently playing with the Yonex Vcore 95 2023 which seems a bit easier to use than the Blade v7.

Yonex 2023 Vcore 95 lead tape location recommendations?

Loving this racquet and added lead tape at 12 and it seems to help boost it's power on serves. I will try the lead tape on the throat and see what it does. I am currently using Hyper G 17G strung at 49lbs mains and 46lbs cross. I love the feel and comfort of the racquet and it serves...

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

Well I have 3 of the v7 Blades so the difference wasn’t big enough to persuade me to sell my old v7s and upgrade to the v9. Only thing the V9 is better than the v7 is on slices.

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

Took both Blade v7 and v9 18x20 for a few hours of hitting and serves. Main difference between the two racquets is v7 is more muted and softer whereas v9 has more feel. I feel like the v7 has a little more power and is easier to hit with compared to the v9 where it felt a bit firmer but not...

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

SW for Blade 18x20 has always been around 330 or so except for poor Wilson quality control so it's ideal that it comes in at 330.

What about Solinco Hyper-G 18G? Looking for a string that is on the soft side and adds some spin and power.

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

I got the TW demo of the Blade v9 18x20 strung up at Alu Power 1.25 at 53lbs tension. The racquet come wrapped in a plastic handle and appearance wise, I think it's one of the best looking Blades in a while. I love the green color that looks better in person than pictures posted here on TW...

    Pure Strike 2024

My TW demos came today and the PS 100 16x20 came out to 331 grams or 11.7oz. It is about .4oz over spec so we shall see how it plays. I also got the Pure Strike 18x20 and that came out to about 11.4oz so on spec. We shall see how they play over the next few days.

2023 Yonex VCore Pro Racquets / 2024 Percept Racquets

I have tried both racquets and prefer the Vcore 95 2023. The Vcore 95 2023 has a large sweetspot for a 95 in racquet and has good power for such a small size frame. The ability to generate racquet head speed helps it on serves. It felt softer on the arm compared to the 100D and volleys are...

    Pure Strike 2024

I didn't like the new 2024 Speed MP compared to the Pure Strike 100 16x19. The Speed MP had a higher launch angle but it had a lot of vibration. I also tested out the 2024 Speed Pro which did not have the vibration issue even though both Speed MP and Speed Pro was strung with the same string...

    Pure Strike 2024

I am curious if anyone is planning to provide a review of the Pure Strike 100 16x19 vs Pure Strike 100 16x20. I demo the Pure Strike 100 16x19 and found it a definitely improvement in stiffness over previous versions but it still felt a tad too stiff for me so the 16x20 might be the better racquet.

Help retiring from Vcore 95 2023

Long time Blade 98 and TF RS 305 user but this is the first Yonex I felt really comfortable using. It swings through the air quickly and is very comfortable to use. The Vcore 95 has great precision and it has one of the biggest sweet spot for a 95 sq inch racquet. Serves is where this...

A new Head Boom Pro release?

I had the Boom Pro and I didn't feel the power of the racquet and it felt stiff. The sweet spot is very small as well. The Speed Pro 2022 also was disappointing so maybe the new Speed Pro 2024 will be better.

    18x20 Wilson Shift prototype

I usually string Hyper G 18G at 48lbs mains and 44lbs on my Blade v7 18x20 but assuming since this racquet has more power might have to go up a bit to say 52lbs mains and 48lbs crosses. Any suggestions?

2023 Yonex VCore Pro Racquets / 2024 Percept Racquets

Tested the 97D and 100D on serves today and the 97D had more control on serves even if it is harder to serve with over the 100D.
