Some Pro Supex / Big Ace questions

If you hit flat, I think you will prefer the Big Ace. It is not as stiff as other polys and many guys I string for like the feeling a lot. It is very durable and holds its tension quite well. Strings won't move very much. The Blue Gear have a somewhat stiffer feel, guys who spin a lot prefer...

    Pro Supex Big Ace

Great string. Very durable, on the stiff side but with good playability. Strings don't move and the tension is well kept for a poly.

    Topspin Poly Polar?

It is one of the softest polys, very playable. Strings will move a little more than most polys. Durability and power are average compared to the others.

Anyone heard of or tried Pro Supex Premier Ace

Yes, I have a reel of it. I have tried it for about 3 hours so far. I like it very much. It is very crisp and very good for control. I think it will last very long but I don't know yet about how long it will keep it's tension. Chris

    Fischer M Speed Pro 98 user's

I've used: Gut. SPPP with gut. Polystar Energy. Topspin Cyberflash. They were all good but different as long as the tension was around 55 pounds no more. The one I liked less surprisingly was gut.

    Gosen Polylon Ice?

I know this string very well, I have strung dozens of this stuff. This is one of the toughest string to break. The feel is really dampened and it feels rather dead but control is very good. Many people like it and it is my string of choice for string breakers. It doesn't loose its tension...

2 piece stringing on Fischer GDS Rally FT

Most Fischer are strung one piece because the last main ends at the top so you naturally do the crosses from top to bottom which is the way to go. Why bother to do two pieces unless you want to do hybrid.

    Stretchiest, softest strings??

Here is one that is cheap and stretchy: Ashaway Liberty. It feels like butter but doesn't lasts very long. For 25$ a reel, you can't go wrong with it if you have your own machine.

Jim Courier and his two racquets

Does anybody knows for a fact that when Jim Courier played a tournament match, he only used two racquets during that same match. He had two favorites racquets and when he broke a string, he gave it on the double to his coach Brad Stine to string it at once so he could have this same racquet as...

    M-fil tour

Max Comfort is a very good multi on the soft side. Durability is OK for a multi. I liked the feeling I got from those strings. Right now TW sells them for 4.99$, It is a no brainer at that price.

    Canadian shops?

You are talking about Yvon Gilbert. Most of their prices are way too high. If you want to buy a stringing machine, buy online from the U.S.A. You will have a great choice and if you take your time, you can get a good price. For sure much better than from Montreal. I bought mine that way and...

    Quick Laserfibre Question (

You can go with the FX Model which is the same as the TT but with a stand. It looks like the DX model but with the drop weight. I have the FX since last november and I like it very much. I have the single action clamps and they work fine. I can't compare, though to the double action which I...
