    What is your "regular" racquet?

I guess the "modernness" of a frame can differ from person to person. Jimbo considers the stick from 1989 as his modern frame hehehehe :)

    $2k for 2 PT57A??!?!??!!

Well well, I remember someone asking $650 for his PT57E LOL To the OP: Ya I noticed that auction, too. Actually, IMO, very slightly used PT57 prices appear to have gone up to $400 from $300s these days, but yes..a grand a racquet is way too much lol

Review of BLX PRO TOUR " DELPOTROS FRAME"

From $399, correct? I e-mailed them to try and get a used one if they have any laying around that they wanna sell. They sd they don't have any and not really set up for something like that. Though I really want to try that frame in comparison to my PT57As.

Review of BLX PRO TOUR " DELPOTROS FRAME"

You can get your hands on any pro racqs. They are rare, so you have to know where to look for. Secondly, one slightly used pro stick will likely to cost two new retail sticks. So you have to spend some. But if you will take all the lead off of a pro stick, no point in buying it. You basically...

What changed in you life since you started playing tennis?

wasted a ton of cash on racquets. i go to gym less often and go to courts instead. i looked much better when i only went to gym. good sides...lots of time spent reading tennis forums and e-bay trying to catch that racquet deal lol..also i can argue like **** on tennis forums now lol

    The TT Football Club

I also would want to see Inter v. Barca. Actually, I would want to see Eto'o v. Ibrahimovic. As much as I like how Barca plays, when Barca sent Eto'o and paid some extra cash to get Ibrahimovic, this totally dissed Eto'o. I would want him to score against his old team lol

    Head Guillermo Vilas

That Head Vilas you mentioned, I come across often on the bay. But I have not seen any V-24 nor even rarer Slaz Vilas Pro on e-bay (racquet on top in photo)

    Head Guillermo Vilas

Thanks for the infon on V-24. How about Slaz Vilas Pro? Any idea on that one? It is the racquet at the very top in the below link http://lh6.ggpht.com/_R75QH658YRs/SjgP1EutASI/AAAAAAAAafc/jG0kZebpSl0/s800/P1020812.JPG

    27" or 27.5"

Gazillions of pro players do play with long sticks, 27.5 or 28 inches. For example I can say that most Head sponsored players from France do play with long PT57s. One definite advantage is on the service. Slight length does let you see better angles. Long stick somehow helps with drop shots...

    Customizing a K 6.1 Team

Here is an info. Under 17 Euro champion and all the rest of his hitting partners play with stock K6.1 Teams (they are sponsored by Wilson and also sponsored by Prince for the tournament poly strings -for training) Don't let the fact that they play with stock k6.1 Teams fool you. They are the...

    pt57a & pt57e specs

No. PT630 and PT57x are NOT the same racquets. I have both. Other than the mold, they have NOTHING in common.

    pt57a & pt57e specs

You can certainly add lead tape to ANY racquet and achieve polarized setup. But you are missing the point about the pallets. Remember, the handle has to be heavy, i.e silicone injected -in order to achieve polarization. But lets do some specs check. I just checked the specs of a stock PT630...

    pt57a & pt57e specs

First, Becker never played with the Becker SE. He played with I believe Quantum Tour 10 MP under the pj.His racquets did not have any DNX on them. FYI, 1st Gen QT10s are sort of the PT57s of the Vöelkls. (But Ericsson can correct me if I am wrong on that one) Second, DY is not the only pfo...

    pt57a & pt57e specs

Well, I agree with you on one thing, that, PT57 is no magic stick. Others, I do not agree 1- PT57A is more solid. Because, due to lead tape, you can get more solidness in the upper half of the head. Even the dead spots closer to the frame would move the ball, due to lead tape. PT630's upper...

    pt57a & pt57e specs

I think you are right as it correlates to something else I read in another PT57-related thread. That, someone had a pair of Filippo Volandri's PT57E's and that there were NO lead tapes under the bumpers and were quite light. It was quite surprising bec. PT57As pretty much mean polarized weighted...

    Roger's K90s Revisited

Would it be possible to see the lead tapes (if any) under the bumper/handle with any type of machinery such as x-ray? If so, would be great if OP could kindly take one of the sticks to a doc lol. If not, look forward to your comparisons to a stock K90. I'd definitely take one of 'em along...

    Gilles Simon's Stick

I can confirm this. But it is a 27.5 inch, not 28. If question will be how you can confirm this. I have one with an FXP pj fake fxp holes pt57a written inside throat 1/2 grip size tk57b grommets 340 gr unstrung 32cm bal, head calfskin grip tournagrip over it traditional head pallet sili in...

    Stock Racquet Polarization?

^^ No. Logically speaking: If polarization is adding weight to the pole points of a racquet -to 12 o'clock & buttcap areas- Depolarization would mean adding weight to the balance point area of the racquet (throat area) so that the racquet is "depolarized".

    16x19 vs 18x20

That 16x19 is for spinners and 18x20 is for b-liners or or s/v'ers is a total myth. There are so many other things that factor in, most importantly the game style. Spin has nothing to do with string pattern. It is all about the head speed generated from the player. If there is a difference...

i have an 18x20 psc 6.1 aka the euro ed. so this stick is the same thing with k factor pj? Would be great if someone could measure the stiffness of this stick.. edit: just wanted to say, the 16x18 psc6.1 is like one of my all time favs :)
