Whether Nadal wins the 2020, Federer’s record will not stand for too long. It might be tied in June 2020, and broken within a year or so after that... maybe even before.
Personally, I’m resigned to this idea.
When Fed Dropped serve to lose the second set, he was up 30-0. Otherwise, that set would've become 5-5, and who knows how it would go. In the 4-5 game of the 4th, he had a total of 5 BPs, but converted none.
That's just bad.
Think about his GS losses in 2018-2019, for example.
