    Are you doing this?

This tip from Online Tennis Instructions helped me. Not sure if it would work for you, but worth a try if you want to try something different. Do the back and forth rocking motion. When you begin to move weight from back foot to front foot, do the ball toss. The forward rocking motion would...

I just watched the video on the website. It says to maintain new balls, 14 PSI. To restore old balls that lost their pressure, 20 PSI. Good tip on using bicycle pump + hand pump for topping off. Will keep that in mind.

    Yonex VCore Pro 97 310 vs Ezone 98 305...

VCP97 310. If you are afraid of low power level you could always tinker with strings (string at lower tension, or use multi or natural gut hybrid). If you are based in Europe, you can order demo racquets from TW Europe.

Comfortable string set-up for Babolat AeroPro Drive 2012

Sounds like a technique issue. I'd say go with hybrid of multi main/poly cross first, then if things still don't improve, full-bed synthetic gut or full-bed multifilament at around 50lbs. It doesn't sound like your game would benefit from full bed poly strings at the moment. Then hire a coach...

Thanks for bringing this up. I think this may be even better than Wilson Trinity in helping to reduce environmental impact. I'll look into ordering a set (2 tubes + 1 pump) later tonight.

Yonex VCore Pro 97 HD review...

Understandable that you want to be cautious. Perhaps try gut main + multifilament (eg Head Velocity) or Monogut ZX as cross? As for how long to cut the gut string, I think best to ask in the Stringing Techniques section. I don't do my own stringing. Not a frequent string breaker.

Yonex VCore Pro 97 HD review...

With gut mains, you don't need to cut out crosses to restring even if the poly cross goes dead. Just play til the gut main string breaks and then restring. Further more the HD is supposed to be flexy sexy, so that should counter the poly stiffness.

    2019 Wilson Blade

Just wanted to pipe in with my fellow TTer here to say I chipped my 1 year old 93P 18x20 yesterday while shadow swinging indoor too. Federer needs a new racquet!!!

Heard an interesting suggestion in a podcast on another way to deal with tall servers having unfair advantage - multiple lines at baselines so that taller players have to stand further back from the net to even out the height advantage when it comes to service.

13 year old unsure of what weight on Racquet to have

Agreed with others about adding weight to the current racquet that you like. Perhaps start by adding weight to the throat area so you don't alter the balance of the racquet. You can use electric tape and tape some coins where the balance point is to start. Measure the weight and balance before...
