2019 is a year of some interesting releases in my opinion. Hereby I am interested in what you folks have found to be contenders for the racquet of the year. Also rackets out of late 2018 may be mentioned as they were mostly played in 2019.
Lets use the following format:
I am fairly sure he uses the Dynacore 305 tuned to his specs. It is not the previous one (DC) but the one before that. But to be honest, i've owned them all and they play 90% the same. Feel slightly changed for the better.
Nice stuff! Great to read! Seems like an interesting frame. Saw another guy playing with it in his mid 30's, former dutch youth champion who was playing a young grinder. He could play so much pressure with the VS; fast, controlled spin balls.
Shapovalov, just turned 20 loses from a player a player who plays for years in the top (rank 10 career high), and is well in shape and you propose he should switch rackets?
And also he could add some weight at 3 & 9.
Playing a while with this frame now, def. one of the best feeling rackets I have ever tried. Safe to say it is in the S tier in regard to feel and comfort if you compare it to the other rackets currently on the market imo. Just a shame the TW is pretty low. It is not that stable tbh, a Prestige...
Imo Kyrgios has a worthless backhand compared to these other names. The only real contenders here are Novak and Nishikori imo. Nadals isnt as strong in offense as the other 2, but really suits his game though. Wawrinka and Fed aren't as good on clay I think.
