The clash with NO GRAY .. better / worse ?

No need man... they let you customize clash now.. paint type (velvet/glossy) and color.. downside....you could get +/- 20 sw frame

well..... it turns out i was quick to (mis) judge hyper-G 18g (1.15). But there are few variables at play that may make my experiment inconclusive. First of all, I strung it about 2 weeks ago at, what I remember to be, roughly 50/48 (not too far from that.. i always go around that). After...

    2019 Wilson Blade

All relatively speaking.... Main thing was decrease in control... and increase in launch angle... it was little too high... i am sure i could get used to it... i only hit 1.15 for 1 hour.. so probably not fair to fully judge the string. i think probably increase in comfort in 1.15 but 1.20 never...

I havent tried 1.25... tried both 1.20 and 1.15 hyper g.. 1.20 was much better.. i think it is a candidate to be to go string... few more to try but 1.20 is solid.

top of the v7 18x20 is particularly good. It really has a nice pocketing.. doesn't lose much power and re-directs fairly well.

Yeah same here. To me its getting better and better.. for some reason volleys worked from day one.. and volleys are my weak shot.. they are better now but i hear you with manuevaribility. On the other side though, due to solid twistweight once you get it out in front its rock solid. Spin is...

holding up ok. 1st one had a tiny paint chip first day.. no idea how it happened but nothing since... my 2nd one is my fault.. after i got my 2nd one and was doing all the scientific lab measurements in the dining room table (weight, balance, sw manual)... i was so excited with matched pairs...

i don't get that. To me it maintains tension and playability really well. TW playtesters thought it did maintain it's characteristics pretty consistently as well.. they actually rated it pretty high for a co-poly. It has also decent scores for tension maintenance and playability duration...

    Jolly's Polys

I played with Hyper G 17g for about a month for the first time on my Blade v7 18x20. It's a really solid strings. Compliments the racquet really well. I do not find it harsh.. It's not the softest poly either but considering i play about 10hours a week and do not feel much of anything on my...

Somebody said in november they will start offering customization for v7 and clash... i would go for it if it wasnt for the QC.. at least at TW i got identical specs as my other one which i love. This racuqet truly ended my relentless 1 year racquet search...

    2019 Wilson Blade

Interesting... my hyperG adventure is going pretty good.. power is low for sure but spin is plenty.. control is very good... i think maybe few lbs lower would put the power back... what really works for me is that picks up the launch angle nicely.. good string... borderline elbow comfort...

where is the pain? same here.. been using hyper g 17 at 49/46 for about close to 8 hours of hitting... no TE but yeah... some shoulder and slight tightness in forearm etc... I do think even though, it does not feel stiff HyperG does work the elbow a bit... Comfort i would recommend Grapplesnake...

So i had 3 hours with v7 18x20 +hyperG 17g today. It was unreal.. i dont remember having this much fun playing tennis. I was non stop ripping forehand winners left and right. It was absolutely joy. Last half an hour i think i was exhausted and level dropped quite a bit but what a stick this...

    Best modern 18x20 97-100"?

Well you are in luck bc some high quality sticks launched this summer. Vcp hd, v7 blade, gravity pro, gravity tour, tf40... i am pretty much obssessed with the v7. Very generous sweetspot.. lot of power, great control.. and spin. All these are about 325-335 SW..

Adding crispness and control to Hyper-G 16 (with a good cross)

thanks. I don't think control and/or feel is lacking.. ton of control and spin with hyperG. May want to boost the power a tad bit... these are all solid strings so far... I have alpha to try next at a proper tension... i also requested a mayami sample set (5 strings!), which is getting massive...

@parasailing I hit with HyperG this morning at 17g (1.20mm). It was just a hard hitting session with a coach. Ball gets a lot of action with this string. Very good bite and spin. Yes, I think power is on the low-end but control and spin is very good so to me it had the effect of given me...
