    Hugs, Not Handshakes

Oh, my family was cold and uptight as hell. They were also a miserable bunch. I'm FOR SURE not the type of guy who thinks hugs are unmanly or a sign of weakness or effeminacy. I got two brothers. What Changes Would You Make To ESPN's Tennis On-Air Personnel

Maybe I've been watching tennis on TV for too long. I look forward to first week matches that I can stream on my laptop, and I hope and pray that they don't have commentators. In general, I think there are way too many people in the studio and doing the play-by-play. And that's not just in...

What Changes Would You Make To ESPN's Tennis On-Air Personnel

2019 USO QF - [5] Daniil Medvedev vs [23] Stan Wawrinka

That was as straightforward an example of being outsmarted as you will ever see on a tennis court. And on that note, my *ss has to go to work. Even though there's a hurricane coming up the coast.

2019 USO QF - [5] Daniil Medvedev vs [23] Stan Wawrinka

What you just saw there was a guy who knows he's not 100% going for broke and taking chances, knowing he can't stay out there and rally forever . . . and a guy who is fit dong the exact opposite. Stan played right into the hands of someone with half his experience.

2019 USO QF - [5] Daniil Medvedev vs [23] Stan Wawrinka

The guy who is INJURED is making the guy who is fit run around like crazy. Stan, you're embarrassing yourself.

2019 USO QF - [5] Daniil Medvedev vs [23] Stan Wawrinka

I don't think he'd want to give the crowd that satisfaction since he's given them so much stick. That's why you don't want to laugh first, you wanna laugh last.

2019 USO QF - [5] Daniil Medvedev vs [23] Stan Wawrinka

There aren't really enough fans in the stands to cheer against Medvedev to make him happy . . . but he breaks to start the match anyway.

If nadal wins the Us open then what chances you give him of finishing as leader in slam race after it's all said and done?

Word. I know this goes on while we kill time waiting for the matches to start . . . but does anyone (outside of the tribes) really care? I doubt even the players themselves give it much thought. Truth is, no one outside of the VB will EVER consider Nadal the Open Era GOAT. He will always be...
