Best Poly String for Head Prestige Classic 600 (PC600)

I have now a very old mechanical stringing machine which I bought for 80€, and I am enjoying testing strings in the PC 600 more than ever. It is amazing how EVERY string feels right in this racquet! From old PolyStar that notches in 10mins of play, to modern cheap Signum Pro Thunderstorm, every...

Upgrading from Wilson Kobra Team FX

At 12, you will increase your SW faster with minimal static weight difference. It depends on what you like!

Upgrading from Wilson Kobra Team FX

First of all, you need to know the swing weight you like. After that, my only recommendation is to be very light handed regarding the lead at 12 o'clock because it will increase the SW hugely. For example, 1gram at 12 will add aprox 3 swing weight points. So, to go from 320 to 338, you need to...

    Yoshihito Nishioka racket

@cyanide43 Are you sure? Us only from TW talk about strung SW pec, as on the other hand all serious tennis player who have their racquet customized talk mostly (if not only) about unstrung SW. The reason is simple : the variation of gauge and nature of the string affects the strung SW. So it...

Upgrading from Wilson Kobra Team FX

Hello Unfortunately I don't know the Kobra at all, but I can tell you from my experience that switching from 16x19 to 18x20 is not easy especially if you go down with head size too. Sweetspot will feel small. That said, Head micro gel radical mp is my favorite of your demoing racquets. But only...

Thinner Gauge = More Spin; Really?

Oh, and by the way : https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/index.php?threads/are-thin-gauges-polys-spin-friendly-in-theory.620731/#js-post-12463900

Thinner Gauge = More Spin; Really?

I think there is a paradoxe : While thinner strings bite the ball more, thicker strings have more friction surface. Analogy : racing on snow, cars use thinner tires to dive in the snow ; on MacAdam, cars use larger tires to stick on the road. Is a tennis ball snowish, or MacAdamish? In practice...

Head tape only on the "damage" zone?

Lol, not everything of course :) It'll change something if you feel something. If you don't, it doesn't change anything.

Head tape only on the "damage" zone?

    1g doesn't change a thing in the handle 1g changes everything at 12 (or 10 or 2)

    Felix Auger Alliassime racquet specs

But I agree that to go to 365 SW, 3 gr is not enough : it's, in general for standard length racquet, 3 sw points per gram (at 12'). 3g = 9 sw points. 367 - 9 = 358SW without lead........
