    The Official Angell Users Club

I really like the feel of the K7 Lime. However, I am still more comfortable with my TC95s. They are, of course, both exceptional frames. Makes quite a lot of the stuff today 2nd rate, IMHO.

    The Official Angell Users Club

The TC95 18x20 I've been hitting with is extremely comfortable. The Dunlops I had been playing with for a year seemed to be too harsh on my arm. Switched to the TC95 for my last 4 outings and my arm pain has already decreased by about 50%. Don't know that everyone would have this experience...

Dunlop Srixon Revo CX 2.0 (and Tour version)......the discussion......

Was just looking and noticed the 2.0 Tour 18x20 seems to be out of stock already. Wonder if the quantities were that limited or if it was that popular? Glad I picked up my 2 at the beginning.

Dunlop Srixon Revo CX 2.0 (and Tour version)......the discussion......

Figured I would report back again after a couple of weeks with the 18x20 tour. Definitely settling more and more into this racquet. So much so, I now have 2. Very solid, love the feel. It pretty much has the potential to do everything well, in my opinion. Friend of mine wanted to hit with...

    Aramid/Kevlar String Comaprisons and Recommendations

Whew, I will have to get up some courage to try Kevlar at 64. I know you indicate the Ashaway looses quite a bit of tension, I will just have to get past the mental part. ;)

Dunlop Srixon Revo CX 2.0 (and Tour version)......the discussion......

Hit some this evening, but not near as much as I wanted. However, so far, the looser strings definitely feel better. It's about an average of 44. I'm not sure that I have the best setup yet, but I'll keep tinkering with it. I definitely like this stick.

    Aramid/Kevlar String Comaprisons and Recommendations

At the time I cut them out, no, they were not. I didn't string it that high, only 54.5. I've just been a lower tension player for the last 10 years or so, averaging in the mid to upper 40s.

Why you want replace that head guard on your racquet

Wow. I've seen some bad wear before, but this is awful. This frame now belongs in the trash pile. :(

    Aramid/Kevlar String Comaprisons and Recommendations

I use the Forten quite often. I like it pretty well. Never had trouble with it breaking prematurely, but I string low and hit more flat, so could be the reason. I just tried some of the Ashaway last week. Honestly, I'm not sure I could tell a huge amount of difference. If anything, the...

Tennis Warehouse: Laserfibre Native Tour co-poly playtest (Made in USA)

I used it as a cross the first time around. It's certainly as advertised as far as being smooth and slippery. I just ordered another set so that I can try it in a full bed. It may be a week or 2, but I will report back. Thanks LF!

Dunlop Srixon Revo CX 2.0 (and Tour version)......the discussion......

Strung mine up about 5 lbs. looser and taking it out again this evening. With any new racquet I always go through a few different strings and tensions to dial it in where I like it. Sorry, I have no experience with the Ultra or Ltd, so I can't offer any comparison.

Dunlop Srixon Revo CX 2.0 (and Tour version)......the discussion......

Hit with my CX 2.0 Tour for about 2 hours this morning. I have it strung with Ashaway Kevlar 18 in the mains, 53.5 lbs. Laserfibre Native Tour 17 in the crosses, 44 lbs. Added lead from about 10 and 2 down to 8 and 4. Right now it's about 12.4 oz and 7 pts. HL. Although I always give a...

    Prince Phantom

Surprisingly, I actually found the sweet spot on the Phantom a little harder to find. I'm almost certain it was just me, but it was really strange. That's the reason I strung it up a few different ways, just to try and make sure I had covered everything I could before I made a decision. I...

    Prince Phantom

Yes, I've owned and played with the TT 95 for about a year and a half. I ordered a Phantom 100 about a month ago and hit with it for about 2 weeks. As much as I wanted to like the Phantom, I figured out it just wasn't for me. In my opinion, the TT 95 feels quite a bit more solid on just about...

What new racquets are people looking forward to?

There is a thread that someone started on the CX 2.0 and Tour frames here in the Racquets section. I'll post my initial thoughts there as soon as I receive mine and I've hit with it a time or two. I'm sure a few others will do the same.

    Confused about drop weight

Yes OP, if you could explain in more detail exactly what you are asking, I think we could all better assist you. Until then, I'm not sure any advice I could offer would be helpful.

Should a player who only strings for himself upgrade to a $700 machine?

I have a Laserfibre MS200FX (Stringway) machine that cost me about $900 to my door around 14 years ago. Before that, I had been through a $175 machine and a $350 machine. The $900 is some of the best money I've spent on anything. I am an absolute believer in the Stringway drop weight system...

    Recycling Kevlar ?

I've been using the Forten 18g kevlar, mainly because of the price. I just received some Ashaway 18g kevlar today. Kind of anxious to string it up and see if I can tell a difference in the kevlar itself. I'm guessing probably not, but I'm always testing things anyway so might as well try this...

What new racquets are people looking forward to?

Very interested in receiving the Dunlop Srixon CX Tour. I hope it has the feel of the past Dunlop sticks I've loved. Maybe in the next couple of days they will arrive and mine will ship. :)

Yep, noticed that as well. Looks like they didn't come in today. Interesting thing though, the 4 1/2 grip size has said in stock date of 09-25 since the beginning, and still says that now. Guessing it must be a typo? (Revo CX 2.0 Tour 18x20) @TW Staff

    Do you stencil your racquet?

I used to stencil my strings, but with a design that I drew up. I only did it for a few weeks because I hate the balls getting marked up with stencil ink. Yes, that certainly may be picky, but it's just me. I haven't stenciled my own in over 10 years. However, I have just about every...

How beneficial is a thicker gauge string?

A thicker guage will help with durability. There's more material there to cut through. I'm partial to thinner strings for the feel. But, I do believe it's personal preference. I don't know that I could call it better or worse, just different. I've done my own experiments over the last...

Dunlop Srixon Revo CX 2.0 (and Tour version)......the discussion......

I wonder how many people have pre-ordered any of these frames and how they will sell in the upcoming months? Read an article online that they are only releasing 3000 frames to the US market. The article didn't specify if that was one specific racquet or all Srixon racquets combined.
