I was a coward, says Janko, but Rafa changed my perception

Federer was once a very arrogant young man. How's that?

I was a coward, says Janko, but Rafa changed my perception

If the player was 26 and crazy as hell like Tipsy then yeah I probably would. It's all about the context. Not every situation is the same. I haven't said anything negative about Nadal here. I've also said that I understand him being an inspiration for someone.

I was a coward, says Janko, but Rafa changed my perception

I understand Rafa being an inspiration for someone. There's nothing wrong with that. I just don't understand it taking him to 26 to realize that he has to give 100%. There was a lot more at work there than just watching Rafa and having an epiphany. It wasn't that simple.

I was a coward, says Janko, but Rafa changed my perception

He wouldn't say it about Federer because he is friends with Djokovic. A person can change yeah. Try a different or new way. Maybe commit themselves off the court more. Not giving 100% on the court is unexcusable at 26 years old imo. It's a competition. That's the whole point.

I was a coward, says Janko, but Rafa changed my perception

You don't have to be a professional athlete to realize something like that. Men have been teaching boys to put their head down and man up since the beginning of time.

Here we go with the deleting of posts. Free speech doesn't exist anymore.

I was a coward, says Janko, but Rafa changed my perception

It wasn't really the setting to me as much as him being a 26 year old professional athlete. I learned in high school or even junior high to never give up until it's over.

Nadal is third of his era in 8/15 Big Tournaments

Actually, Murray leads him in Cincinnati too. Edited.

Nadal is third of his era in 8/15 Big Tournaments

It's much worse than that. He's 4th or lower at YEC, Paris, Shanghai, and Cincinnati. Murray leads him in 4 major tournaments and complete MUGS do as well.

Rafa fans, your wish for how that slam record to be broken!!

70 votes for non-clay surfaces 41 votes for clay I'd say things worked out fine. Now as for the gifs, would you prefer Muhammad Ali or Federer as opposed to DJ? Which face do you want to see every day? Hmm? ;):happydevil:

Your name is Clay lover, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. All anyone has to do is look at the poll and the voters though to see that you can't speak for everyone else.
