    Jannik Sinner

Really impressed with this kid. He hits the ball so hard. He seems pretty calm and composed, saved all of his 9 break points with ruthless ball striking. Also impressive how low his unforced error count was today considering how hard he was going for every single ball. Pleasure to watch, for a...

"It is with great regret that I am withdrawing from the inaugural ATP Cup event. When I entered the event last month, it was a really difficult decision because it meant less time at home with the family and a fully intense start to the season. After much discussion with both my family and my...

Madrid and Rome were preparation for RG since he has been skipping the clay season for 3 years. He's probably skipping Paris due to the weight of being the end of the season and due to the fact he won't have a lot of time between tournaments.

He will be skipping Paris. "I am extremely disappointed to have to withdraw from the Rolex Paris Masters. I have to spare myself because I want to play as long as possible on the ATP tour. I am sorry for my French fans that I will see next year at Roland Garros."

Does lower tension in crosses matter?

That's what I thought. I might try dropping the tension by 1kg on the crosses on my Blade like Goffin does to see if it makes a difference.

Does lower tension in crosses matter?

Cool thread. I get that on hybrids it makes sense having higher tensions on gut for example. But I'm curious if it makes a difference on full of bed poly, as we see players doing both.

Exactly, and the inconsistent is the stringbed and spacing not so much the twistweight. I'm probably gonna start at 12 to change the balance with the least amount of weight and change in feel.

I have 2 PS97s as well and I'm probably gonna put some lead on the hoop to make it a bit less HL, around 5-6HL. Why adding at 3/9 instead of 12? Isn't the twistweight already quite high on these, around 14s?

    Pro specs sheet

Ah just noticed the specs were for the PS90 instead of RF97. Funny, his older PS's look whippier especially on the backhand, I thought the opposite. Regarding Tsisipas' racquet, if he uses 10g on the handle, with an og it makes sense to be around 319g. The 343 strung sw was an approximation...

    Pro specs sheet

Great thread. Tsisipas most recent unstrung specs at the Laver Cup are 319g and 32.0cm with og. Datasheet says 310g. https://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/index.php?threads/tsitsipas-racket.629922/#targetText=The%20rackets%20are%20grip%20size,is%20319g%20and%2032.0cm. Is Federer's strung balance...

Does anyone think that Federer might benefit from an 18x20 pattern in his RF97?

Funny you say that, I just saw a video of him switching racquets during a practice session with Tsisipas. It could had been just due to tension loss tho. 0:48

    BLX Blade - New Blades

Interesting. I just got a K Blade for £25 and I'm enjoying it. What makes you prefer the K Blade compared to the other versions? How much weight do you usually add up and where?

I think it was the elbow up, but now I can see the resemblance to Roger's as well. Technique looks good. Which racquet and strings are you using out of interest?

    Vid of a few points

Your forehand looks somehow similar to Zverev, which I'm guessing by your racquet that it was intentional.

    Tsitsipas Racket

Congratulations on your monstrous spin. You're missing the point. Tsisipas has some of the biggest spinning rates stats, around 40's on the backhand and 50's on the forehand. The fact that his racquet and setup is not the most spin friendly only makes his topspin rates more impressive. I'm not...

Should Federer take break from Tennis?

What are you talking about? Does he move better than 10 years ago? No. But he still moves better then most of the young guys on tour. His footwork is still remarkable and you're blind if you can't see it.

Should Federer take break from Tennis?

I know, I just found another one as well for Djoko's lost. I just love how when the Next Gen loses against the Big 3 someone complains about how weak they are, yet when the Big 3 loses against a Next Gen player someone else suggest they should retire.

Should Federer take break from Tennis?

Shall we create a post regarding Djokovic retirement after his lost today against Tsisipas? Should we had created a post regarding how Thiem beat Nadal on clay? Or can we just appreciate the fact that we live in an Era with 2 generations in the top 10 playing great tennis?
