I've only used Luxilon and Signum polys before and I've found a tension that I'm comfortable with after the 10 per cent recommended reduction in tension.
I've just ordered a set of Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour. Is it alright if I string it at the same tension as my Big Bangers?
I haven't...
Head says Gasquet but heart is hoping for a Tsonga win....
the only man since Ali to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee,,,,love watching him play!
Currently using this string in the mains....with Supersense in the crosses (bought it as part of the Ace Touch hybrid package)....
Like MTXR said, you can take huge rips and it will still stay in....
The thin gauge helps you generate lots of spin....BUT remember to string on the low...
Gasquet has a heart of gold....he was up 6-0, 5-0 and Lindahl was serving at 0-30......he didn't wanna give the kid a double bagel and gifted the Aussie four points.....
I hope he has a good run....great player to watch!
Really depends what you want the hybrid for.
I swear by the Luxilon Big Banger Ace Touch hybrid (1.12mm Ace on the mains for lots of spin and 1.25mm Supersense on the crosses for touch).....
I experimented with different strings and gauges.....then I fell in love with the ace touch...
Jo11y, hope your ranking goes high enough to get into the main draw. Otherwise, you definitely deserve a wild card.
Hope to catch you in action....if not at Arthur Ashe, then at one of the smaller courts.....
I live in a condo with a tennis court. I have regular social games with my neighbours. But things are threatening to get ugly as we often quibble over dodgy line calls.
Two of my neighbours nearly came to blows last night.
I think the only way to create a more pleasant atmosphere is to...
She was stabbed in the BACK! Seles was great but she didn't have eyes in the back of her head.....
Gunther Parche should have been locked away for at least 3 years....
Tons of 4.0 Japanese tennis players! Not sure how many of them surf this site though.....
Probably better to ask your girlfriend to post something on the Japanese equivalent....
That's a really nice serve for someone who's played for only two months. A lot of recreational players play much longer and still only dink the ball in on second serves.....
For me, the serve was the hardest shot to master (or at least get it halfway decent).....I got a basket and just practised...
I know I'm never going to be number one in the world. But I just want to be the best that I can be. There are a few players who have consistently beaten me. These are my personal Everests. I'm playing in a 4.0 league. Hope to get my level up by 0.5 increments. But basically, I just feel happy...
I went with the wilson k factor pro tour super 6 in black....and I haven't looked back since.....
You can store tons of stuff in it and you'll look just that little bit more menacing when you step on court :)
I've tried Gamma, Wilson Pro, Tournagrip I and II and Babolat VS.
VS, originally touted as the world's thinnest overgrip, feels the most comfortable to me followed by Wilson. For some reason, Tournagrips feel funny to me too.
"The Sergio Tacchini Gabby Six looks awesome."
Gotta second that. Unfortunately, I can't get it where I am and postage from TW is $37. Had to settle for the Wilson K Factor K Pro Tour Super Six in black....
