Has the standard length version been discontinued, or is it just out of stock?

Premier Control Fanboy / Fan Club

Thanks, John Z. Do you still prefer the feel of the nrg2? It's what I'm currently using, but am looking for something a bit less lively.

For anyone using PPC, have you used a similar tension to other multis, or backed off a bit due to the stiffness?

    Prince Classic Graphite 100

Haven't seen much here yet about the new standard length midplus. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has tried it and what string setups you've used. Here's a brief thread from last week: http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=482013 Thanks for any suggestions!

New 2014 Pure Controls in Hand

The previous PS tours were also listed at 11.8 oz strung, but were supposedly in the 12.1 oz range. Are the new tours closer to the listed weight?

Question for TW playtesters re: Prince Classic 100

Thanks Andy. Do you recall if it was strung at the lower end of the tension range?

Question for TW playtesters re: Prince Classic 100

I'm curious about the string setup used in the Prince Classic Graphite 100 review. What was the copoly setup? Do you have suggestions on the tension? Thanks for the help!

original Prokennex Ionic Ki 5 specs

I believe the specs were the same as the current version (Ki5 315). 11.8 oz with a 325 SW. Same racquet with at least four different paintjobs.

    New Dunlop F 2.0 tour

The Classic seems to just be a renaming of the current Bio 200. http://www.dunlop.com/gb/catalog/2010/tennis/rackets

    Quick AG 200 question

I've been using the AG200 for a few years and would recommend a low tension with a poly string. Maybe 53-55 lbs since it's such a low powered racquet. I've been considering this setup myself, likely with a 17 guage, softer co-poly.

Chris - question about the C10 and Organix 10 (325)

Chris, I'm wondering how arm friendly the C10 Pro is with full poly at the higher tension. Since you've used some pretty flexible raquets in the past, with lower tensions, is this set-up harder on the joints? Thanks!

All Volkl Users: BB Melbourne: Why Didn't It Sell As Well As The Awesome PB 10 Mid???

Grip shape is a factor. I wish the melbourne could be a little lighter and less sluggish, especially on serve. Not 11 oz, but maybe something in the 11.5+ range.

Review of Donnay X-Dual Platinum 99

TW lists the flex at 61 and not 70. Does it play stiffer than a 61?

Dunlop head shape on 200 series?

The description is "Dunlop Biomimetic 200 goes back to its roots, using the original Max 200g mold for classic feel and control." It's on a number of sites, so it may be text that retailers got from Dunlop. Here's one link: http://www.*************.com/dunlop-Biomimetic-200-Tennis-Racquet-21377

Dunlop head shape on 200 series?

I had the same thought (I did google it too). Just thought someone might know if it was actually a previous mold. It's stated on some reputable retail sites.

Dunlop head shape on 200 series?

Other retail sites claim that the Bio 200 uses the same mold as the Max 200G. Anyone know if this is true?

    Gamma Progression 200 newbie

Did they feel tighter than a typical 55, or a previous racquet that you had been using for a while? Maybe they just need to loosen up?

TW Review: Volkl Organix 10 (295g)

The BB London review wasn't all that long ago. It's essentially a Volkl and has remarkably similar specs. Even though Jason was the only reviewer on both of them, the London got much higher marks.

Which classic racquet would you most like to be brought back?

I thought I recalled reading that Dunlop was planning to release a "retro" frame this year. So my guess is the 200G.

    Donnay grip shape

My apologies for not being able to find this - I'm sure it's been discussed at some point. What grip shape (Wilson, Head, etc.) is the new Donnay closest to?

Dunlop Biomimetic 200 and 200 Lite - great, but underpowered

I haven't tried the Bio200 yet, but I've been curious about its power. I use the standard aerogel version, and when I compare the two in TW's power map, the Bio version has higher numbers. With more flex and a lower SW, it doesn't seem to make sense. I know that there are other factors, though.

Specs are really similar so it will be interesting to read any comments. TW staff reviewed both and liked the Dunlop a little better.

    BLX gold 98

The blades and the prestiges are very different - the blades are more powerful. The prestige MP is also not a 98 - just advertised that way. Closer to a 95.
