Why thicker beams are more powerful

Can someone break down the physics of why a thin beamed racquet of equal mass is not as powerful as a thicker beamed racquet. Assuming all else is equal, weight and hoop size, and stiffness level.

Why older racquets information pages aren't maintained?

Why does Tennis Warehouse let older model racquet reviews and customer feedback pages go? It's an invaluable resource, and I wish they could maintain all racquets reviews they have made for models they have sold in the past.

    Azarenka vs Kerber reconsidered

I rewatched the highlights of their 2016 AO match, and knowing now how really good Kerber was against Serena, I think Azarenka played a good first set, but her second set was amazing up to 5 2 on serve! She was playing like she had to, I think she just got tight with the lead and 40 0 and tried...

    Nicotine gum

Although I do not advise it, and it can be habit forming, I experimented with Nicotine gum for weight loss, and it actually gives you a mental boost playing tennis. But again it is habit forming and I had to ween myself off even though I'd never smoked!

    Camila Giorgi-Incredible potential

Anybody else amazed by the power she can deliver off both wings? Her serve hurts her and I'm not sure if it can be improved because of her height, but I think her biggest problem is shot selection and nerves. She has tremendous potential if she can develop her mind game!

Former serve and volley player needs advice

I competed in high school tennis in the 80's when serve and volley was king. I only played maybe once or twice a year till the 2000's when I started playing regularly. Anyway, I slowly realised that chip and charge doesnt work like it used to against modern racquets and strings. I was self...
