Most of the time it seems to be every year, and with babolat they will usually update each line every two years from what I have seen. so puredrive one year and then next year the aeropro. For the most part though an update is only a change in composite materials and not a completely different...

Thanks that's what I thought, how would you rate the dunlop hexy fiber in the power range compared to a shaped poly? If I try hexy fiber I would probably end up stringing it around 63 lbs. I know higher tension increases control but does it also increase spin potential?

If your right, looks like i got about 50 bucks in strings for 10 dollars... Though they probably are not the same quality as the current consumer ones are.

they are for sale online and come in sealed plastic with paper reading "gamma experimental" and "confidential" as if they are pre-release strings sent out for a sort of playtest they also have identification codes. For 2.50 a set i think I am just going to buy them and put them on a back up...

Came across these gamma experimental strings online. Anyone heard of them? came in brown, orange, grey, and a natural color. Says confidential on the package as well. If anyone has any info on these I may purchase them since they end up being a measly 2.50 a set.

Looking at getting some older frames to practice with (small headsize, heavier, and less forgiving) and came across the head tx017 on the bay. Anyone have any specs for this? looks like the the prestige but different paint, so guessing it is completely different.
