    Andy's Wife

I was about to mention the airbrushing. I read that some models get depressed when they see their own pics because of all the air brushing that's done to them. People need to check out this video on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2gD80jv5ZQ

Which colleges have YOU been accepted to?

I wish I went to college while Obama was the president instead of Bush. Every year Bush was raising interest rates (and fixing them) and cutting back on Federal grants and loans. As soon as Obama became president, I saw my variable interest rates drop from 6% to 2%...unfortunately though...

Only good thing I see from this game, is that now we have a solid starter and the goalie shuffle comes to an end: Antti Niemi, you are officially the starting goaltender of the Chicago Blackhawks.

How good is half as good as federer?

Well, if we go by Grand Slams, it would be Nadal or Agassi. Roddick would be about 1/15th as good by those standards.

    Health Care

Very possibly; it would probably be preferred that a Type B person finds the cure out of a motivation to do well for the public good, rather than a Type A person who does it for personal wealth. Type B person would try to make it affordable for all, while a Type A person would treat it like a...

    Health Care

Good, we need more Type B people in America rather than Type A people if this country is ever going to realize its full potential. "Ask not what your country can do for you (Type A)--- ask what you can do for your country (Type B). A system that encourages people to promote their self...

It was ugly; bad defensive lapses, can't hold a lead. Why wasn't Hossa used in the shoot out? Scotty needs to come in and take the reigns.

    Health Care

Good read, but that issue lingers about forcing people to buy it. Unless you subsidize to a point where they can afford it, it's ludicrous. Fining people who cannot afford it would be a bad way to go; and if they do get it, what will it cover? In addition, even if it does pass, the...

is this a good car deal?

According to the Kelly Blue Book value, you are overpaying if it is an SE, and getting an alright deal if it's an HSE; the difference? I am not quite sure.

Woman aims to become world's fattest

Maybe she is planning to sell her blubber in the near future as heating oil for people in the New England area. The weekly grocery bill of $815 is insane; I don't even spend 1/2 that much for myself in one month.

Time to get rid of fighting in NHL

Well back on this subject. Today Alex Ovechkin boarded Brian Campbell leading to Campbell having a shoulder injury and missing time. Ovechkin has been suspended and fined before for similar shots, but since he has so much money, it does not matter. I like Ovechkin's physical play, but hitting...

Time to get rid of fighting in NHL

I will say this; I think part of the reason it's allowed in hockey is because the players are white. I think if they were African American, people would frown on them like they did on Ron Artest a few years back. Racism is still a major problem in America today.

Time to get rid of fighting in NHL

There is not much to be gained by suspending a goon. Take that Cooke hit on Savard. Say they did suspend Cooke for the same amount of time that Savard is out; Pittsburgh does not lose much while Boston does. Maybe to curb these activities, the team should be penalized. This way, teams will...

Time to get rid of fighting in NHL

Well if you eliminate fighting, then the goons will come out in full force. I'm sure some goons would not mind getting paid to be goons and would be more than willing to serve a suspension and lose some money than have someone bigger and badder punch their lights out for a cheap shot and lose...

Rich People Don’t Create Wealth. They Manipulate It.

People become rich by capitalizing off other peoples' ignorance. Take Sarah Palin for example. She left her post as governor of Alaska to go around the country making speeches and getting paid large sums for those speeches, in effect boosting her popularity, then releasing her book "Going...

Rich People Don’t Create Wealth. They Manipulate It.

William Jennings Bryan nailed it over 100 years ago in his Paralyzing Influence of Imperialism Speech. Here is an excerpt: "When trade is secured by force, the cost of securing it and retaining it must be taken out of the profits, and the profits are never large enough to cover the expense...

Canada V. USA Hockey Rematch for Olympic GOLD.

Nice work Canada, was an exciting game. I just wish anyone on Canada could have scored the goal besides Crosby though. That was probably Don Cherry's wet dream, and now we'll have to hear how much better Crosby is than Ovechkin because he has a Stanley Cup and Gold Medal (yeah, and Nadal is...

Canada V. USA Hockey Rematch for Olympic GOLD.

Game is on at 3:15 EST. If Ryan Miller continues to play like Ryan Miller, the USA should win. Canada will get their SOG, so he will have to make some amazing saves like he did the first time around. However, Canada also showed some vulnerability against Slovakia, so the US may be able to...

Sorry Canada, it is tough to lose to the super power in hockey ;)

I hope the US keeps Brendan Morrow and Ryan Getzlaf in check (two players I cannot stand from the NHL). I'll be rooting for the US to win and the Blackhawks players on Canada (Toews, Keith, Seabrook) to play well. No doubt the US is the underdog here. I think Canada has half of all the...

Who cares? I could care less if Americans win gold medals. Olympians win medals for themselves, not "for their country" (maybe except hockey players). The competition between countries is just a marketing stunt by the Olympic committee to increase viewership and bring in the cash flow. If...
