Yes, I lived in Munich for 4 years, it always rains in the Spring. It's not "global warming," as someone (apparently with a straight face) suggested in the match thread. Munich has been cold and rainy in April since time began.

I don't see how Felix can play his match, daylights running out and it gets dark around 7:15.

I didn't see the match, but the commentators said Garin dealt with the very cold and heavy conditions much better. They showed highlights where the American was upset about slippery lines and just went away mentally.

For the Rune fans who can't watch the match, Snakeatoglou is not in Munich, Carlsen is. And mommy is also in the box. Holger hit many drop shot winners, made few UE's and was solid. Low first serve % though - 53% but he won 93% of first serve points anyway. Not flashy play, but very solid off...

Pretty boring first set, Holger not doing much against a lacklustre opponent.
