Paint Cracks on Babolat Pure Drive Upper Hoop?

Hi @Babolat Official. Thoughts on these hairline cracks that run along the inside of the hoop (see pics in original post)? Any feedback would be appreciated!

Paint Cracks on Babolat Pure Drive Upper Hoop?

Yeah man, I never play without a shock absorber on these frames!

Paint Cracks on Babolat Pure Drive Upper Hoop?

That's what I was thinking, and they run along the hoop rather than across.

Paint Cracks on Babolat Pure Drive Upper Hoop?

I only noticed these hairline cracks today. They run along the inside top of the hoop around 11PM and 1PM. What do you guys think? Just cosmetic? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks.

    Nike Vapor X

Ending up returning them for a different pair, but I have the same issue. I turns out that my left arch is lower than my right. Back to Asics.

    Nike Vapor X

Just picked up my first pair of Vapor X's. They fit great except for one issue. There's a piece of material on the inside of one eyelet on the medial side of the left shoe and it presses against my arch (see pic). Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Help me find my next reel of poly

Been using Genesis Black Magic 16g for a few years now and couldn't be happier. Great price ($90/$8), playability and tension maintenance.

I'm looking for a Spin Monster.

The three that have produced the most spin for me are: 1. Ultra Cable (currently using) - fun string, loses tension quickly, massive spin but hard to put the ball on a dime, dies after 8 hours of play 2. Wilson Revolve 17g - awesome spin for round string, snapback is second to none, softer...

    Achilles Tendon injury: new shoes

Ruptured my right Achilles last April and started playing again in late August. Chose a pair of Gel Res 6's as my comeback shoes and they treated me well. A tiny bit of heel lift, but super comfortable. I hear the 7's are even better.

Yonex Ezone DR 98 Tension / Dampener Question

I play with the DR98 and have experimented with hybrid string tensions in the past. I've had the most success with Black Magic 17g @ 49# in the mains and Gosen OG Sheep Micro 17g @ 53# in the cross strings. Hope that helps.

    Yonex VCORE SV

For those interested in adding lead to an SV98 I found this setup to play really nice. I used the "two location solution".

    Yonex bag quality

I have the 2016 6-Pack Pro Series Blue bag and have been very happy with it. I carry 4 racquets in one compartment and the rest of my gear in the other. Plenty of room.

Hyper G vs Tour Bite soft vs Proline 2 all 1.25 gauge

Two additional recs would be Cyclone and Genesis Black Magic. Both play fairly soft and are priced well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yonex VCORE SV

Agreed. I was playing with a PS 16x19 (old version) then switched to the SV98 and developed bicep/elbow pain instantly. It's too bad because I love the racquet. I just picked up a used DR98 and am impressed...might switch to it instead.

    Yonex Ezone DR CLUB!!!!~~~!!!

Just picked up a DR98 in order to compare it to the SV98 I purchased in November. Played with it for a bit last night and I'm very impressed. The DR isn't a spin monster like the SV, but I'm digging how plush it is and I felt like I had more control over my shots. The Sony Smart Tennis Sensor I...

Pure Strike old vs new...what's better?

I play exclusively with the old Pure Strike 16x19 in stock form and love it. Power and control have never been an issue with this racquet...at least for me. The only downside I've found is that the occasional off-center hit can be a bit jarring. Another member had said that some lead tape at 2...

Traveling to Naples, Florida Oct. 15-21

I'll be in the Naples/Bonita Springs area next week and am hoping to find someone to hit with while visiting. I'm a solid, left-handed 4.0 player (past USTA junior player) and would prefer to play someone with the same ability or better. If there are any TT members that are interested please hit...

    Mystery Gamma String

@Irvin the sample had no labeling on the bag or the string itself. I decided to give Gamma a call and the rep knew exactly which pack of string I was referring to. Apparently it's Zo Dart. I have no experience with it, but based on the info I found online it sounds stiff.

    Mystery Gamma String

I received this packet of unlabeled string with an X-2 stringer and have no idea what it is. It's round and definitely a poly. The other strings that came with the machine were Poly Z and Synthetic Gut. Care to take a guess at what it might be?

    Your Favorite CHEAP Poly Reels?

True...BA is a priced well too, however I prefer to play with one string and have multiple frames of the same setup.

    Your Favorite CHEAP Poly Reels?

I've been contemplating buying a reel of either Isospeed Baseline or Pro Supex Big Ace. Played with BA and loved it, but the current sale price of Baseline is hard to pass up if they are similar. Has anyone here played with both strings and if so would you care to share your thoughts? Thanks.

    Pro Supex Big Ace Revo

Can anyone chime in on where I might find a reel of this stuff? My gut tells me the string's been discontinued or it's just not available in the states. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. -Tim

    Tennis Warehouse-Mid Atlantic Chapter

Honestly, I don't think there's much that's different other than the PJ. Based on info from another thread (1) the spacing of the cross strings is a bit wider and (2) the frame is supposed to have a more uniform stiffness from end to end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
