    Yonex VCORE series 2018

Last time I bought from Greensports and Hock Eng. But both places don't have VC95 in stock anymore. The only place that I can confirm got stock is Topper but last I checked, it was selling for RM560. As for used ones, it's very hard to see any used VC95 on the market.

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

I got my second VC95 at RM399, which is about 94$. In my country, most places sell current VCORE lineup at 116$ and the most expensive one that I saw was 131$.

Should be in around that, either in September or October. I bought VC98 at that time 2 years back.

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

Finally got myself my 2nd VC95. No more switching rackets till I break these two. Or maybe when new VCORE comes out... I tried to play around with tweeners like EZ100, PD and PA but I can't just gel with them. In the end I went back to my trusty VC95.

Wilson K Factor Six One Tour 90

I would suggest VCORE 95 but if you prefer the boxier and thinner beam, then Prince rackets should have you covered. I used to use K90 back in HS but nowadays, I went for VC95 which is soooooooo easy to swing. It is also lighter while still being a lower powered racket.

    yonex vcore 95 and VDM?

VDM debuted in VCORE Pro last year, which is a year after VCORE came out in 2018, so there shouldn't be any VDM in your VCORE 95.

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

Never tried the VCT F 97, but the PJ is definitely nice. For VCT/VCP line, my fav PJ is actually the red VCT. I guess I just love red. I actually love it. If you give me the choice between red or galaxy black VCOREs, I'll always go for the red ones. If it's like 2018, then the line should be...

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

I love the red colour though. VCORE line traditionally seems to always have red in their colour scheme except for Si which had orange in its colour scheme.

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

After flirting with Ezone 100 (2018), Pure Aero and Pure Drive, in the end I decided to go back to Vcore 95. I guess I just prefer a low-powered thinner beam racket...

    What's your racquet history?

Junior High Dunlop Graphite Ti-2 Oversize 110 Wilson K6.1 Team High School/College Wilson BLX 6.1 95 (Asian ver) x2 Wilson K6.1 90 (Asian ver) After Yonex VCore Tour 97 310 x3 Yonex VCore 98 Yonex VCore 95 Sold everything now though (and broke 2 of the VCT97 and 1 of the 6.1 95 I have)...

Why did you switch to Yonex?

Used to use Wilson rackets (K6.1 Team, BLX 6.1 95, K6.1 90). Then I had a hiatus of 5 years before coming back to play last year. At that time, I managed to get a pair of VCT97 310 super cheap. Really love the control and spin that I got from them. Sadly broke both of them when they accidentally...

    Feedback on Practice Match

Ahaha thanks for the tips. My backhand is actually my stronger side as I am much more consistent on that side. Most of my errors are from my forehand. But I think I can improve by making my backhand smoother as you said. Actually when I see my first video, my backhand looks smoother. I think...

    Feedback on Practice Match

Honestly, I've seen old guys with unorthodox strokes defeating top state players in doubles with smart shot selection and tactics so I definitely wouldn't be surprised that you are ranked at 4.5 even with unorthodox. Even my coach back in high school played very unorthodox game, like hitting...

    Feedback on Practice Match

Thanks for the comment. I'm actually from Malaysia, so we don't use NTRP ratings for our tournaments/leagues. Just curious at what rating my game is because some people actually asked what NTRP rating my skill level is at even though we don't actually use them. I'm not sure what to answer them...

    Feedback on Practice Match

Hey guys! So I played a practice match against my good friend to prepare myself for league matches. I started playing tennis when I was 14 and after high school, I stopped for a while and concentrated on basketball in college. After 5 years, I started playing again last year. In this match, I...

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

So I went back to hit with my old Wilson BLX 6.1 95 16X18 and and was having a blast with it. Sadly the grommets are gonna give out soon as the racket is almost 10 years old already and I do not have spare grommets. In Malaysia, it's impossible to get spare grommets as no one is selling them...

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

Currently using Gosen Sidewinder 17 at 48 lbs. Partly because I like it and partly because it's cheap here at my place, around 9$.

The Prince Phantom 93P is a gift to us from TW - My Review/AMA

Del Potro uses a 95. He still uses 6.1 95 under PJ if I'm not mistaken. Djokovic also uses a 95 with his prostock PT113B. Shapovalov also uses a 95 with his SV95 and Wawrinka with his VC95D. Honestly 93 and 95 are not much different size wise tbh. You won't see pros using 93P because how many...

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

I see. Sadly I sold it already so can't test that out. However, I'm pretty happy with Vcore 95 around 6 hours of on court time. I guess I play better with low powered racquet. Still getting used to it on the serve though.

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

Sold my Vcore 98 after 10 months of using and decided to get a Vcore 95 instead. After the honeymoon period, I fail to hit the ball accurately as the launch angle can be super unpredictable urghh... I tried to adjust to it but to no avail. Here's hoping that the Vcore 95 doesn't have the same...

4.0+ - How long do rackets last you?

Before my current rackets, I used a BLX 6.1 95 Asian version for almost 8 years and a Wilson K6.1 Team for 10 years before finally switching. In the end, my BLX cracked after taking a lot of abuse while my K6.1 can still be used till now but it's too light for now and I gave it to my cousin...

There is no better racquet then the Wilson RF 97a, won't you agree?

RF97a is definitely an awesome racket. Had fun with hitting groundstrokes and volleys using the racket as there's so much plow through. Sadly, my serve suffers as it's too heavy for me and hurts my shoulder if I use it for too long. For me, I prefer Vcore 98 compared to RF97a.

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

My friend has the same problem. He keeps switching racket because his grip always becomes too slippery due to his sweat after awhile. He is just like me though, only bringing extra water and small towel, maybe an extra t-shirt to wear after playing.

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

The funny thing is I don't do anything special at all. I only make sure I bring enough water and an extra t-shirt to change to after playing, that's it. I do prefer dry fit clothes over cotton because I really hate it whenever the cotton clothes become wet.

Try playing in Malaysia. The humidity is even worse here, though temperature-wise not that much different. Luckily I am used to playing in hot and humid weather as that how it is all year round here...

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

Hmm actually I also don't brush the ball that much actually. I just drop the racket head under the ball a bit and hit through the shot using extreme semi western grip. Good advice about getting Xi 98 as backups. At my place, I can get one new for around RM150 (a bit under 37 USD).

    Yonex VCORE series 2018

You're better off staying with Vcore Pro 97 310 then. Vcore 98 is more of a modern tweener racket like a Pure Aero/Pure Drive so it's not suitable for those who prefer a traditional feeling racket. I used to play with a modded Vcore Tour 97 310 (6 g at 12 o'clock) and that racket is definitely...
