Hello guys, could you please help me with some racket advice? I play an aggressive baseliner game, mostly on clay courts.
I've been playing with the 2022 Ezone 98 Tour for almost 2.5 years. Usually I string it with HyperG 1.25 or Lynx Tour 1.25, recently I've been trying a hybrid with HyperG...
Hi everyone,
Interested to know any opinions on the 2025 ezone 98 vs the DR 98 (black/blue). I've recently picked up the DR 98 and noticed amazing improvement in my singles game. The DR is very plush and it's effortless hitting as I'm not worried to swing freely without worrying about launching...
Yonex offer a heavier (315g+) racket in all their lines, something not all brands do.
My question is, which one do you think is best and why?
- Ezone 98 Tour
- Percept 97H
- Vcore 98 Tour
- Vcore 95 (310g)
From my opinion, the most “pro-stock feel” racket out of all of these is the Percept 97H.
I have a 2022 Ezone 98+ and 2025 Ezone 98. My current setup is restring zero/sync hybrid at 48/45. My game revolves around strong first serves and volleys. They are also very comfortable and don’t bother my arm (although 2022 version is less comfortable). I recently got a few sets of Wasabi Pink...
To all my racquet customizer friends who may see this, I have an interesting one for you.
Yes, its 2025, almost 2026, and I still play with an Ezone DR98. I have two-one yellow 4-1/4", one blue 4-3/8". I have each slightly weighted differently just to play around with what feels better...
Jim Courier commentating Casper’s match against Opelka at Laver Cup stated he has word from Darren Cahill that Casper changed up his equipment to a 98 inch frame following the US Open. Hard to tell from tv which Ezone generation he may be using. A little surprised he supposedly switched from...
I’m not necessarily expecting an answer because we’re not yonex engineers on this forum. But still, why wouldn’t they make their spin racquet as aerodynamic as their power line ? I feel that it’s a bit contradictory…
Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a racquet with an optimal swingweight that provides enough power, especially on serves. I used to play with the Tecnifibre TF-40 (2022) and really liked the serve power it offered. Recently, I switched to the Wilson Blade 98 16x19 v9, but I find it lacking...
Hi, can anyone provide any info on the spin potential of the new ezone 100? I've used a lot of rackets over the last year and I could just not find spin on the ezone 98 and I don't know why. I was able to generate more spin with the blade 18x20 for example. Ive heard the ezone 100 is more spinny...
Hi All,
I bought the new Ezone 100 from Tennis warehouse and I've been having an issue with breaking strings on the 7th grommet over at the top of the racquet. It seems like the bend is too much and causes some sort of weakness on the string. I have a few 2022 Ezones and I don't have this...
I imagine quite a few people have turned to the dark side and see the appeal in spinny/powerful racquets. I think the options for this type are also more balanced, refined and attractive.
I also imagine that some are tired of so many racquets optimizing for that and want something more...
Yes I know there's not a huge fanbase XL racquets, but bear with me...
Currently playing with a Head Gravity MP XL and really like it with the exception of one major flaw in my opinion: put away capability at the net. I am also finding that my balls sail longer more often than I'd like...
Bought two of this racquet with full bed Poly Tour Strike (grey) 1.25 at 48 lbs. Matched their specs at 344.4 g, 31.63 cm, 326.3 SW with damper, leather grip and overgrip.
Some background: I started developing some pain on the top side of my forearm and in my elbow in the weeks prior to...
It looks like there is going to be a Yonex Ezone 100 collaboration coming out this year with Supreme in two different colorways...
As a hype beast...highly interested...
I use the Yonex Ezone 100+ 7th Gen (2022).
I really love the racket. I checked out the specs of the new 8th gen 100+ online and it’s a bit different. SW, Balance, etc.
If you use the 100+ 7th gen and try out the new 8th gen, feel free to drop your opinions.
Hi!
I would appreciate hearing your opinions on this.
I have been using my old Flexpoint Radical Tour 100sq (2005 I guess) for several years now.....

Below are the specs from the Yonex official website w/o string and overgrips.
Ezone 100SL 270g 16x18 330mm
Ezone 100L 280g 16x19 325mm
Has anyone tried both of these rackets?
My friend with 1.5 years of tennis experience is using 100SL(16x18)270g with ice code 1.30mm. Static weight is 283g...
Talked to a Yonex Area Salesman via LinkedIn of all places, he said these notes on Ezone:
Same mold, new layup
Addition of “special fibers”
** Other reps have said different Info:
Cosmetic change without change to layup or tech.**
Cosmetic referred to as “Bold”
Ben spent the first half of the year playing with an Ezone and PolyTour Rev. In this photo he has a darker racquet with a green string.
Could be Vcore Pro with poly tour pro green?
Which type of player is each racquet best for?
Background info on myself: a lanky two handed backhand player that is trying to play all a court tennis game. Competes in USTA 4.5 level men’s league.
Did somebody try all these racquets?
I am thinking of selling my speed mp and change to a 98” Yonex Racquet.
My level should be NTRP 4/4.5. Agressive Baseliner Gamestyle like Rybakina or Sabalenka.
I m looking for a sort of upgrade of the speed mp which i feel a little bit unstable when i hit...
hello everyone, I was wondering what sort of weight I would want in a racket. Ive been playing for 3 years and I am quite experienced and I hit lots of loopy topsin balls from the baseline. I'm currently using an exone 100l but I tried an old aero pro lite and it completely changed my...
