Hi All,
I bought the new Ezone 100 from Tennis warehouse and I've been having an issue with breaking strings on the 7th grommet over at the top of the racquet. It seems like the bend is too much and causes some sort of weakness on the string. I have a few 2022 Ezones and I don't have this...
I imagine quite a few people have turned to the dark side and see the appeal in spinny/powerful racquets. I think the options for this type are also more balanced, refined and attractive.
I also imagine that some are tired of so many racquets optimizing for that and want something more...
Yes I know there's not a huge fanbase XL racquets, but bear with me...
Currently playing with a Head Gravity MP XL and really like it with the exception of one major flaw in my opinion: put away capability at the net. I am also finding that my balls sail longer more often than I'd like...
Bought two of this racquet with full bed Poly Tour Strike (grey) 1.25 at 48 lbs. Matched their specs at 344.4 g, 31.63 cm, 326.3 SW with damper, leather grip and overgrip.
Some background: I started developing some pain on the top side of my forearm and in my elbow in the weeks prior to...
It looks like there is going to be a Yonex Ezone 100 collaboration coming out this year with Supreme in two different colorways...
As a hype beast...highly interested...

I use the Yonex Ezone 100+ 7th Gen (2022).
I really love the racket. I checked out the specs of the new 8th gen 100+ online and it’s a bit different. SW, Balance, etc.
If you use the 100+ 7th gen and try out the new 8th gen, feel free to drop your opinions.
Hi!
I would appreciate hearing your opinions on this.
I have been using my old Flexpoint Radical Tour 100sq (2005 I guess) for several years now.....
THE SPECS

Balance point 315mm (unstrung)/ 8 pts HL

I can say that I still like...
Below are the specs from the Yonex official website w/o string and overgrips.
Ezone 100SL 270g 16x18 330mm
Ezone 100L 280g 16x19 325mm
Has anyone tried both of these rackets?
My friend with 1.5 years of tennis experience is using 100SL(16x18)270g with ice code 1.30mm. Static weight is 283g...
Talked to a Yonex Area Salesman via LinkedIn of all places, he said these notes on Ezone:
Same mold, new layup
Addition of “special fibers”
** Other reps have said different Info:
Cosmetic change without change to layup or tech.**
Cosmetic referred to as “Bold”
Ben spent the first half of the year playing with an Ezone and PolyTour Rev. In this photo he has a darker racquet with a green string.
Could be Vcore Pro with poly tour pro green?
Which type of player is each racquet best for?
Background info on myself: a lanky two handed backhand player that is trying to play all a court tennis game. Competes in USTA 4.5 level men’s league.
Did somebody try all these racquets?
I am thinking of selling my speed mp and change to a 98” Yonex Racquet.
My level should be NTRP 4/4.5. Agressive Baseliner Gamestyle like Rybakina or Sabalenka.
I m looking for a sort of upgrade of the speed mp which i feel a little bit unstable when i hit...
hello everyone, I was wondering what sort of weight I would want in a racket. Ive been playing for 3 years and I am quite experienced and I hit lots of loopy topsin balls from the baseline. I'm currently using an exone 100l but I tried an old aero pro lite and it completely changed my...
I recently demoed the VCore Pro 100 (2021) and fell in love with it. I was about to make the switch from my Gravity Tour, but after watching several very positive reviews of the new EZone 100 I feel the need to demo that one first before pulling the trigger. I plan to do that in a couple of...
Hi All,
It's my first post on the forums, even though I actively read a lot of stuff on here.
So, I've been playing tennis for about 2 years - twice a week. For most of that time I've been using the Vcore Pro 100 alpha - this is essentially a takedown version of VCP 100 but made in china and is...
I don't know if it's me but I find the ezone 100 way too stiff. It was strung with a full bed of Yonex Poly Tour Strike 17 gauge at 53 pounds tension. When practicing with the racket my wrist hurts due to feeling the brunt of the force for off-center hits. I recently purchased a 2020 ezone 98+...
Dear members,
I currently own a 2020 ezone 100 and like every aspect about it with the exception of having too much free power at times. I was on the lookout for a 98 tour (for stability + control + less free power) but got an amazing deal for a 98+ and therefore bought it. I am planning to use...
I am still playing with the DR. Nothing even remotely close to being as good has popped up yet. Is the 2020 Ezone similar to the DR 98, or is it more of an iteration of the 2018 Ezone.
Thanks!
I got to playtest the new 2020 EZONE 100 at the USTA National Campus during a tennis trade show a little while back. And boy, that was the best most epic racquet I've ever gotten to hit with by far! Perfectly suited my game. I currently am using a Prokennex Q+5 310 and it just doesn't work well...
I know for sure they're going to drop around the AO time period. Does anyone have any ideas on what color they will be? Any specs as well? I will update as I keep learning more about the racket.
Well, just like a car, let's call this the 2018 model, shall we? Discuss.
