I am a former university level player looking to compete again and need a new set of sticks.
I’m a grindy baseliner, taking inspiration from Nadal/Ruud/Thiem, and need a whippy spin-oriented racket.
Currently have the Pure Aero 98, Head Speed MP, and the Vcore 95 in mind (and potentially the...
I’d like your opinion on a possible candidate between the Blade v9 98 16x19 and the Speed Pro 2024.
I played with both for about two hours, but I don’t know the tension or the strings used in each one. I measured their SW and it was 322-325.
My impressions were:
Blade: I was able to generate...
Currently I am using the Speed Mp 2022. Have anyone tried any of the two frames above and what are the differences in terms of power, spin, control and consistency. I truly value a consistent string bed. I play an aggressive style of tennis going for those crazy angled shots forehand and...
Hi all,
I'm learning to serve properly (pronation, isr) etc. At the moment I am serving ~120ish kmh (i normally serve mid 130s when not serving properly, that's how I am roughly guessing the current speed). My serve is quite accurate at the moment when I pronate which is good. I have had some...
From reading the multiple threads in this forum I think a few common opinions stand out:
1. RPM Blast produces more spin than RPM Power.
2. RPM Power is a more comfortable string for the arm/elbow.
I was interested if any anyone has experience on the ball power/speed aspect.
How does RPM Power...

Jeff Sackmann has done it, the surface speed ratings are now live:
Sinner and Djokovic having likely the highest spread of wins.
Older ratings from 2017-19! There is also a 2014-16 edition.
Hi, i have been using the speed pro with yonex strike 125 strings for over one month and it still lacks too much power in my opinion. I have the speed mp too and it s easier to generate power. It s good racket but sometimes in a match i used to change to the speed pro and viceverse whatever i...

hello everybody,
Im a proud owner of a head speed pro. But i have the impression i am lacking some power so i would like to buy a more powerful racquet as a second racquet when i need a bit more power and i am tired to generate this by myself. But i dont want to lose completely control and...
everyone obviously has asked for Head to release a pt346.1 for the public so us bums can think we’re novak - but what if they did try to make a user friendly model in his “spec”?
Let me know what you guys think about this for a speed, would it suck or be great?
Speed Tour / Speed Novak

Hello everyone,
Just bought this racket off ****. Not sure if it is fake or not but the H seems pretty suspect. Specs with overgrip are- 316g and 319mm balance. Thanks!
Out of curiosity which is closest to the Blade v7 18x20? I've been reading that both Head racquets are similar to some degree to the Blade, but curious as to what characteristics they all share and which are the outliers. I'm aware of the TF40 being a direct comparison, more interested in other...
based solely on this video, my friends say anywhere from 90 to 105.unless you're the local 6 year old who passed by me and said 150...
I'm hoping it gets across the 100 mark, for this video at least...
I mean just look at how TW presents the racquets to the general public: "The Speed family of racquets sits between the classic control of the Prestige line and the modern power of the Extreme series. These racquets are perfect for all-court players looking for a good balance between power and...
Hi,
I recently tested and compared the Tecnifibre TFight vs. Yonex Vcore both at 305g and 98 inches head size.
Both racquets were tuned with the same amount of lead tape at 3 and 9.
Both racquets had the same strings and tension and OG.
I tested them the same day on the same indoor hard court...
Take two sticks with almost exact specs saving for:
-Head size: 95 vs 97
-Beam width: 20,5 vs 21,5 mm
oh... and string pattern:
-18x20 (on 95) vs 16x19 (on 97)
Yet when playing, the thinner n smaller (by ever so small a margin) swings so much easier and faster then the other...
I would...
They seem to be similar-ish racquets, and I couldn't find a thread directly comparing the two, so if anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear it!! Cheers
Hi i have a prince exo 3 tour 100 and i want a similar racquet with the same amount of effects and more stability in volleys, my play is baseliner with a semiwestern forehand and 2hbackand better than my forehand and im 15 years old and im 6.15 ft so i want a racquet that helps my serve so what...

I just busted my IG Radical MP. I need a replacement just like it but wasn't able to find one in the current market. Can someone advice me on a racquet close to it or better available currently? Thanks a lot!
