The both sides agreed on the end of the cooperation that began in 2015. In Tsitsipas' team remains his father Apostolos and the finalist of two Grand Slams Mark Philippoussis.

Looking pretty bleak that anyone will catch him this season. Nadal probably will have a limited schedule, possibly won't play at all. That means the potential 1600 point lead on Ruud, 1800 on Tsitsipas are the only two likely technically "in the race." Brutal point gap to overcome. He already...
Has Ruud surpassed the following Next Gen players in your view of the current pecking order?
Medvedev?
Zverev?
Tsitsipas?
Berrettini?
Rublev?
Pick all players you honestly think Ruud has surpassed.
Carlos Alcaraz and Stefanos Tsitsipas have officially qualified for the ATP Finals. They join Rafael Nadal (officially) and Novak Djokovic (unofficially). That leaves four more spots remaining. In theory Medvedev and Ruud could both qualify by meeting in the US Open final, both needing a minimum...
... for the taking at 2022 US Open, six players with a real shot at #1. Incredibly close, Nadal definitely in the driver seat, though.

Welcome to the Final of the Cincinnati 2022, between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Borna Coric. Tied 1-1, but Borna won the only completed match after a massive choke from Stef at the US Open 2020 3R.
Match to be played at 16:30 EDT
Welcome to the 10th edition of this modern classic between these two Little Three members, this time in the Cincinnati 2022 SF. Bulls. Russian leads the series 7-2 against the Small Kid who doesn't know how to fight.
Time TBC.
For the 4th straight clay court Big Tournament, we've got another Steferev and another Little Three match. The Greek leads 7-4 in the overall H2H and 3-1 on clay, while the German won 3 of the last 5 matches, including this year's Madrid SF.
Match time TBD, but maybe on Day session.
Figured it was time to revisit after the second Masters title, first on clay, of Carlitos' season. He's now the #1 contender, up to +200 just behind Nadal's +137. Notable that Nadal isn't in the negative odds like he used to routinely be at RG.
First of all, congratulations for Stefanos and his fans for defending his Montecarlo title.
Second, I have been looking at the distribution of Stef's titles on every surface (clay, outdoor hard, indoor hard, grass), and I've noted this very strange distribution
-Clay: 4-5 in finals (2...
The second Montecarlo semifinal will see the tenth meeting between these two Little Three members, with Stefanos leading by 6-3 and 2-0 on clay, but Zverev has won 2 of the last 3 meetings.
Match to be played not before 15:30 CEST, 9:30 EDT.
We all know that there's a Big Three, many argue that there was a Big Four, and some people consider that we currently have a Big Two.
But what about a Little Three? Or a Little Four? Or even a Little Two?
Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev have the highest quantity of Big Titles, highest W/L...
Daniil still the one defending points. Two matches away from a 2nd Major and World #1. Stefanos would be gunning for 2nd career Final, first Slam and move up to world #3.
Certainly playing less than half the time is some kind of edge for CITY BUS!!!!!

I haven't been watching much of the Rogers Cup, and just noticed a "final four" of Opelka, Isner, Medvedev and Tsitsipas. They average about 6'8", and I swear Tsit (the "shortie" of the bunch) looks taller than 6'4".
This must be the tallest group of semifinalists ever...no?
Without looking it up, if I was to tell you that the top 5 NextGen players in win percentage vs the top 10 is:
1. Medvedev
2. Guess this player
3. Tsitsipas
4. Zverev
5. Opelka
minimum 10 matches, who do you think this player is?
Stefanos Tsitsipas will take 3rd place in the ATP rankings for the first time in his career on Monday, August 9, and will move Nadal to 4th place. In the live ATP ranking (https://live-tennis.eu/en/atp-live-ranking), Tsitsipas has 8115 points, Nadal 7815.
Matteo Berrettini has the best record at the Slam level of competition of all men born after 1995.
Berrettini (30-12, 71.4%)
Zverev (58-24, 70.7%)
Medvedev (38-18, 67.9%)
Khachanov (38-19, 66.7%)
Tsitsipas (31-16, 66.0%)

Novak glazed Rafa like a BBQ rib. Fine dining.
He said he likes his desserts nice and curly so Guy Forget put Greek filo and butter on the menu. Hope they checked if the dough is gluten free...
"I am not at a stage anymore where I am happy with just a great match,"
"Was it a good match? Yeah. But at the end of the day, I am going to fly home tomorrow. I don't care about semifinals. It might sound arrogant, but I am not trying to be arrogant. Just saying it how it is. I wouldn't have...
There was a chance for Medvedev. Today's win pretty much wiped out his chances.
On Sunday, Djokovic faces the ATP race leader in the RG Final. A win would launch him 600 points ahead of Tsitsipas going into his pet slam. It might be all she wrote after that. Tsitsipas is probably the only...
To start with, it's highly unlikely that ANY of this will happen, but...
Nadal losing in the SF (or earlier) AND
Tsitipas winning RG2021
Results in: Tsitsipas 8,780 ATP points, Nadal 8,630 points, Thiem 7,425 points
I have been watching the rankings and calculating points to see where people will land….Tsitsipas just won the Lyon 250 event. He is suppose to get 250 points, right? His point total only went up 70. Anyone know why or what happened? Does the Covid adjusted point system have anything to do with it?
