Djokovic’s assessment of Alcaraz’ grit during his champion speech this week at Cincy.
He congratulated Carlos on his never give up attitude on court and went on to say - after Alcaraz replied about being spanish - that he’s ‘experienced this before, maybe not like this, maybe yes’.
How do you feel about it? Do you take as a compliment to Nadal or the opposite?

There shouldn’t be a question of wether he’s faced grit “like this”.

Nadal (and Federer too) has stood up and brought it against a much better Djokovic than last night.

He was relatively easy pickens for Carlos a break down in the second and expressing massive exhaustion. Tiny had a massive lapse and let Novak back in.

It wasn’t AO ‘12 that’s for sure.
