1.15 gauge strings

There are lots of strings that come in 1.15 gauge. Solinco Tour Bite and Confidential at a minimum. Volkl makes a bunch of very thin strings like V-Square, V-Torque/V-Torque Tour, Cyclone/Cyclone Tour, and probably others. Of the round strings, Alu Power and Poly Tour Pro come in that gauge. There are probably at least a couple of kevlar offerings that thin also.

These are just off the top of my head. I'm sure the actual number is probably two or three times greater.

The obvious one to try is HyperG Soft 18 which is 1.15 - plays like HyperG, but is more comfortable and lasts a few hours longer for me before it goes dead. If you don’t mind a string that goes dead in less than 8 hours, but plays great for 4-5 hours, try ALU Power 1.15 also.

tier one makes some thin gauge strings like ghostwire...personally not a fan of <1.20 in my vcp97 because it feels too springy but im guessing you have 18x20 pattern
16x19 ezone tour for me. Use 1.25 klip legend coated M with strikeforce rip 1.18 C.
Oddly enough, the 1.18 version has significantly better tension maintenance than the 1.23. Don't really notice a power difference.

Currently play with Hyper-g 1.15 what are some others strings that come in 1.15?
Since you are already using Solinco HyperG, you can try TourBite 1.15.
Confidential is also 5 sided and comes in 1.15mm.

If you are looking for super cheap options: Try Pro's Pro - Black Force 1.14mm (round), PP Red Devil - 1.14mm (round), PP Black Out 1.14mm (has edges).

Cheers

problem with thin mains and thin crosses and when I do the cross strings the starting cross knot is too small and wants to pull through the hole. Anyone else have this problem

Most Solinco strings come in 1.15 18 gauge. My fav is Hyper G in that gauge, did not like Revolution or Confidential in that gauge. Diadem Solistice is good in 18 too.

Have you tried a bulky starting knot for the crosses?

When searching for 1.15 strings, be aware that there is no accepted industry standard. It can be labeled 18 or 19 gauge, depending on brand. Some brands thinnest gauge is 17L, which can be anything from 1.18 to 1/22.

Also, TW has stopped carrying some strings in 1.15 like Diadem Solstice Power and that are still available elsewhere.
