1 More Demo in 11.2-11.7 ounce range?

I'm looking for a 4th demo to try with the following three: Dunlop Bio 400 Tour, Head YT IG Radical Pro, and Yonex EZone Xi98.

Back on July 3rd I had originally ordered the Donnay Pro One 16x19 with those three but it's having problems getting back into T-W so I'm substituting another racquet in for it.

I would like for it to be in a similar weight range...maybe 11.2 to 11.7 ounces.

Some racquets I've considered are:
Dunlop Bio 200 Lite
Volkl Organix 8 315
Wilson BLX Blade 98
Yonex VCore 98D

Any others in that weight range I should consider?

Several I've already tried and vetoed in that weight range: Pure Drive, AeroPro Drive GT, TT Warrior, Bio Max 200G, YT IG Prestige S, Ozone Tour, RDiS 200

Thanks for any and all input.

May I ask what you didn't like about the AeroPro Drive GT? I hit around with a friend's Aero Storm GT and thought it was great, even though I'm a midsize raquet user.
And I few years ago I tried Nadal's cortex edition and liked it very much.

To me, the maneuverability just wasn't there for me...I struggled to whip the racquet for heavy topspin off the forehand side. I also didn't find the control I needed and believe it or not, for some explainable reason, I didn't get the spin from it that I get out of my 200 Tour.

Maneuverability, spin and control important to you? Demo the Slazenger Pro Braided.

Have you tried the Babolat Pure Storm Ltd. GT?

It's demanding at first, and I mean DEMANDING. But once you get the groove of the racquet it hits solidly and serving is phenomenal.

Although I think the 200 Lite is the natural progression from your 200T for maneueverability, given that you are after more power, the specs and feedback suggest that it would have less power than the 200T and 200G, which you felt was underpowered. Maybe this one should be ruled out?

Did you find the stiffness of the racquet to ever be a problem to your elbow or to touch shots (I live a lot off of drop shots)? The other thing I sort of worry about is the 'whipability' of my forehand...any maneuverability problems with the SPB?

Thanks for your input...I'll take a closer look at that racquet.

I did and I loved most aspects of the racquet. It played very light for me and I found plenty of spin and amazing control. I just never could seem to find easy power out of the racquet. Love playing with it but for some reason it took a lot out of me playing with this racquet.

In reading the review and a lot of the comments it seemed like it might be lacking in the power department. I then read a lot of the comments about the Wilson PS 6.1 95 (another racquet I was considering) and it seemed to be even lower powered. Right now it seems like I'm picking two out of these three: Xi98 (I've already tried it once), Slazenger Pro Braided, and 200 Lite.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Have you ever considered that no racket can deliver what you're looking for?

You want to be able to whip your forehand. You want easy power. You don't want a stiff flex.

That type of maneuverability only comes from a low SW. Easy power only comes from either a high SW or a very stiff beam. You can see the problem.

Eventually, you have to make a compromise. You can stop trying to whip your forehand, you can give up on the idea of easy power, or you can use a stiff frame.

I think the prestige s is what you are looking for..def'n more power that 200 lite. The Donnay silver could be an option, but for me that had too much power vs my prestige s.

I was coming back from a severe hand tendonitis injury that sidelined me for 3 months last Fall (needed steroids, rest and physcial therapy). At the time I had been using a Wilson K-Factor 6.1 95 18x20. When I switched over to the Slazenger, the stiffness didn't bother me one bit (still doesn't to this day).

The ability to really whip the racquet head on my top spin groundstrokes was what amazed me at first. This racquet has been the easiest of any stick I've played with to maneuver at the net on volleys. I also have similar pace and more control on my serves compared with my former K-Factor.

This racquet has truly been a "holy grail" for me.
