Nadal pulled a Djokovic WOOW
While Djokovic looked vulnerable early in the week, Nadal has looked more vulnerable over the last few days while Djokovic stepped up several gears, so the signs were there.Nadal fans are in a bit of a daze it seems.
It's almost like their brain cannot comprehend that Nadal is being outplayed on his most godly surface.
Exactly. And he slows down Federer's pace every time they play, which is a huge reason why he beats him so often. Nadal/Toni are no idiots.Djokovic has been bossing the tempo of this match since the beginning. Nadal is always vulnerable when his opponent dictates the tempo.
Nole is the closest thing in today's game to a perfect player, in that he has no weakness, other than having the occasional bad day, so Nadal can't grind him down. If Novak is having an average day Nadal must dial the aggression to 11 and take risks, instead of falling back to his usual stock of breaking down the opponent's backhand, and for that he needs confidence. For a supposedly mental giant Rafa can sometimes look rather insecure.Wow!!! Djoker breaks back. Why is Rafa so passive when he plays him?
That would indeed very fun to watch, Rafa's clay dominance ending. Intitially I wanted Rafa to win as I didn't want Djokovic to increase 400 points lead over Federer. Now am cool if Djokovic wins, heheI wanna see Nadal on clay this year if Djokovic somehow wins this. He always had that Monte Carlo title as back-up.
