Nadal is still not in his prime and besides he is coming back from injury, he would of won this years Australian open if not for his injury

The fact that Nadal isn't in his prime form is scary for Djokovic, because Nadal outplayed Djokovic from the baseline and probably would have won in 2 if he just got 50% of 1st serves in during 2nd set. I think Nadal is going to win Miami, and its a more important event than Indian Wells because Nadal has never won it before :)

I already acknowledged in my post Lopez did beat Nadal once on grass which means he has in fact overachieved in the matchup with Nadal, since ability wise he probably should have never beaten Nadal. The idea he gets killed regularly by Nadal since he bends over is laugahble.

Please try and comprehend at least one of my points. I never stated Lopez specifically bends over for Nadal. He does a lot of choking to pretty much loads of players. As do a lot of mental midgets. Spannish players do have quite a few mental midgets in the ATP.

Clearly Lopez does not have the game to beat Nadal hence why he is destroyed nearly everytime. As for the one win, it was a Gilles Muller like fluke.

From a theoretical perspective Lopez has got the necessary tools and weapons to beat Nadal occasionally on a fast court. Big serve and a big forehand and is a capable net player. Nadal hasn't got a great return and can be got out (see Roddick in Miami where Nadal wasn't on his serve for 90%) and if you have a big groundstroke you can attack Nadal's forehand. Again Lopez CAN do this. Of course Nadal is the much better player. Matchups are matchups. Hey, Santoro does everything better than Safin. Certainly serves better, Santoro's BH runs rings around Safin's etc etc

HRRRMMMMM!!!!!

LOL please. Lopez is not a volleyer and I have seen him play many times. Lopez is a baseliner with a big serve and big forehand

Oh dear. This is quite laughable. Lopez's anticipation at the net is a lot better than Nadal's. Especially touch volleys . Nadal has solid volleys but in terms of technical play Lopez is one of the best at the net. Although nowhere near the top in terms of all-time volleys. We live in an era where 5 players - Federer, Mahut, Navarro, Llodra and Lopez have above average volleys .

Actually it is easy to deny. It is a myth started by the Nadal hating brigade. David Ferrer is Spanish and he has beaten Nadal 4 times including twice in slams. Moya has beaten Nadal multiple times, and pushed him on other occasions even aging and past his prime. It just so happens Ferrer and Moya are the only Spanish players good enough to compete with Nadal. People who think the likes of Clowndasco, Lopez, Almagro, Robredo, are good enough to regularly challenge Nadal if they simply wanted to are delusional. If you arent good enough to be regularly ranked in the top 10 or are a fluke excuse of a top 10 player (aka Verdasco) you shouldnt be able to beat someone like Nadal hardly ever, if at all. All the same Spanish guys who have never beaten Nadal have never beaten Federer too, and in fact some who have (eg- Ferrer). That group are doing as well vs Nadal as they ought to given their ability levels

So Ferrer is technically a superior player than Verdasco? Haha. I laugh at you. Ferrer has less ability than someone like Roddick even in passive mode. Ferrer however is able to compete at 110% and moves as well as anyone on tour. Probably the only guy who can go toe-2-toe with Nadal if the match became a fitness test.

Your reasoning for Nadal being able to dominate lower ranked players is so stupid it's comical. 'These players are outside of the top 10 so they have no chance'. ROFL!!! Clearly this poster doesn't understand matchups etc etc. Even if you are correct that Nadal should beat player 'x' more often than not it's not because player 'x' is ranked way below. Pretty sure Nalbandian has a better record over Federer than Roddick does? Pretty sure Schiavone won a slam being ranked very low.

'I'm NadalAgassi and I believe a matchup is determined by rankings position. Nadal should never lose to anyone below the top 10:roll:. Nadal will comfortably deal with guys like Davydenko and Roddick in the future. because they aren't top 10!.'

Lopez is 1-2 lifetime vs Donald Young and people think he ought to be beating Nadal, LOL!

Do I really need to address the stupidity of this last post?
