Definitely. If Nadal wins the event he essentially becomes the best player of 2017 to this point. Djokovic could also suddenly put himself completely back at the top with just two weeks of focused, great tennis. Kerber winning it would legitimize her number one ranking and change our opinion of her ability to be a longterm number 1 in the absence of Serena

Definitely. If Nadal or Murray or Djokovic can win, they'd definitely push themselves back into top contention. As it stands it's up in the air who leads.
Also definitely for WTA, if Pliskova wins, she'd be number 1 so that would be huge. If Svitolina or Halep can win, they'd definitely put themselves in contention for WTA leader.

BET365. Not being aired on free to air TV here in Australia.

Nope.

9. What would be your Dream Final?
Zverev v Thiem would be cool or Nadal v Thiem. If it's both Djokovic, Murray or Nadal i'm not watching. Sick of the big 4 matches. Nadal v Federer was awesome but Djokovic v Murray is so damn boring. Nadal v Djokovic will be somewhat interesting but still, eh. Murray v Nadal will just be a Nadal thrashing so yeah.

Women final. Dream for me would be Stosur v anyone and Stosur winning hehe . But realistically. Svitolina v Halep would be damn cool if they're both uninjured. Pliskova featuring in the final would be awesome as well but seems unlikely.

5. Could the 2017 French Open Change our view of who is leading the ATP / WTA at the moment?
For sure, if Rafa wins it, he would have achieved his most ever points at the first part of the year and it would free him for the rest of the season and fill him with confidence. If Nole wins it, he's back, even might start to dominate again. Andy needs to prove himself to be the #1, Stan would look really Finnish if he lost early again and Thiem/Zverev could give their careers a huge boost by winning.

On the WTA it could if the winner is one of the strong performers so far this year like Svitolina, Pliskova or recent hot streak Halep, otherwise it will just be another first slam winner who will have to survive the hype machine

On the men's side no unless someone besides the big 4 in the tournament win it.

1. Who will win?
Please, God, I never ask for much. Let The GOAT, Nadal, win again.
Out of the top 10, ugh, I only like Muguruza, but I don't see that happening. If it's not mental, it's physical. She's in dire need of counseling. I'd love to see win (in order): Vinci, MLB, Bacsinzsky, Cornet, Gavrilova (new fav), Kasatkina, CSN. Anyone but Bertens. And, NO, Sharapova won't be winning this year. Svitolina's playing good enough to win it. Yawn.

2. Which player could sneak through to a SF or Final?
I don't know the seeding order, but I expect Zverev, Thiem, Coric to do very well. Before seeing Kyrgios play against Rafa a few weeks ago, I would've listed him. (Is he injured, or just bad on clay??) If this were hard court I'd list Querry. I'll still list him ruining the FO for a few seeds. Ditto for Swartzmann.
I think Bertens could go far in the women's, unfortunately. If she makes it to the final, she'll choke no matter who she'll face.

9. Dream Final(s):
Rafa defeating Joker 6-0, 6-0, 6-0. I want a massacre. If Federer were playing, insert there.
I'm surprised so many people are picking Wawranka to at least place. Must be because he hasn't done anything this year, so he's due.
The women's side is a nightmare. Has been for years.

10. Federer's Last FO?
In singles, definitely. If he doesn't think he can handle it now, with the way he's been playing, and healthy, another year's gonna encourage him?! I guarantee he won't be playing better next year. I see him roping Rafa to play doubles with him in the future (2+ yrs). I'm not psychic, and he's not stupid. ;^)B

ADDENDUM: Just read a couple of entries, and a smart man listed Goffin to do some damage. I agree. Forgot about him. Pretty impressive this year. I also just remembered Siegemund the Sea Monster. That broad has nerves of steel. Hope "Mean Girls", Kristina "Who Needs Vowels" Mladenovic, and The Canadienne Chin lose in the first round.

Depends on who is leading the ATP at the moment. Roger isn't playing, yet he's won a Major and two Masters 1000 series. Nadal has 2 Masters and a 500, so if you say Nadal is leading the ATP, then no, but if it's Roger, then yes.

Mostly TV, but I might stream a compelling match at work, at least once we start getting to the business end of the tournament

Nadal probably. I get the feeling that the big guys will have some early exits, though. I believe Nole can do this, but if he needs to go through Thiem, then Nadal, then Zverev/Murray/Stan his chances are very slim.

La Decima, Kvitova return from injury, Agassi's coaching Djokovic, Murray's lack of form, Stanimal reemerging, Zverev and Thiem going for a slam.

5. Could the 2017 French Open Change our view of who is leading the ATP at the moment?
Currently Federer is leading the ATP, with Nadal a close second. After the tournament, Nadal will be leading assuming he makes at least the semis. If Djokovic or Murray show any semblance of form, too, that will be great.

6. How will you be getting your tennis news during the french open? (If you use online, please list the websites)
Google automatic updates, French Open website, television (somewhat).

TV, maybe some streams if TV isn't giving the lower-scale matches I want to see.

Novak vs Stan with Nole winning.

Probably not. I expect in his final season, he will play the French again.

WTA - Venus Williams ATP - Thiem, Zed

5. Could the 2017 French Open Change our view of who is leading the ATP at the moment?
Currently Federer is leading the ATP, with Nadal a close second. After the tournament, Nadal will be leading assuming he makes at least the semis. If Djokovic or Murray show any semblance of form, too, that will be great.

Would be great to see another run from Venus for sure. Her draw means that she has a good chance to get to the fourth round, then there's a big step up in quality against either Muguruza or Mladenovic

I feel like if Djokovic were to win the F.O. we will start thinking like his form slump never happened. Suddenly he is a double career slam winner and he goes straight back into the No. 1 conversation again, with Agassi in his corner. The potential for momentum shift is huge.....
