10 Questions for all TT members on Wimbledon 2017.

This year has been my favourite tennis year since 2005. I hope everyone doesn't mind but before each major I am trying to make a question thread to find out how everyone else is feeling before all the biggest tournaments.

Here are my answers. Please add your own.

1. Who will win Women's / Men's Singles?
Kvitova / Raonic

2. Which WTA / ATP Players are you most looking forward to watching?
Pliskova twins, Kerber, Svitolina, Ostapenko, Mugu, Keys, Vandeweghe, Kontaveit, BellisDodin, Riske, Vekic, Kvitova / Raonic, Murray, Federer, Nadal, Wawrinka, Djokovic, Cilic, Thiem, Nishikori, Sock, Feli, Querrey, Johnson, Khachanov, , Medvedev, Bublik, Muller

3. Which WTA / ATP player could sneak through the draw and make a SF or F out of nowhere?
Madison Keys / Medvedev

4. Favourite story you'll be following at the tournament this year?
Federer's return to major tournament play / All the Nextgen players showing their stuff on grass / The new technology at Wimbledon / Nada's attempt to do the channel slam / Djokovic and Agassi returning.

5. Could the 2017 Wimbledon Championships Change our view of who is leading the ATP / WTA at the moment?
Definitely. If Federer wins he would be wrestling back dominance of the ATP from Nadal, and be seen again as the best player of 2017. Also if Djokovic were to win he is back adding to his legacy and straight back into the conversation at the top of the game with the hardcourt season still to begin and maybe forging a longterm coaching arrangement with Agassi. In the womens, a strong tournament from Ostapenko would mint her as the biggest new star in WTA for 10-15 years.

8. Can you name any of the sponsors of 2017 Wimbledon?
No.

9. What would be your Dream Final?
Nadal vs Federer with Nadal shocking Federer by playing the best grasscourt tennis of his career.
Raonic vs Nadal with Raonic finally winning his first major beating Federer in the quarters, Djokovic in the Semis and then Nadal in an epic similar to their Indian Wells match with Raonic winning 17-15 in the fifth set.

10. Will this be Federer's last ever Wimbledon?
No, I don't think so. I don't think he will ever play a full schedule again but every year he remains on tour I think he will always be at Wimbledon. So he play a few more yet.

Pliskova and Federer

2. Which WTA / ATP Players are you most looking forward to watching?
Kuznetsova, Pliskova's, Kontaveit, Kvitova, Barty, Svitolina, Gavrilova, Muguruza, Venus, Wozniacki, Pironkova, Azarenka. Federer, Wawrinka, Djokovic, Thiem, Tomic, Kyrgios, Pouille's ass, DelPo.

3. Which WTA / ATP player could sneak through the draw and make a SF or F out of nowhere?
Safarova or Muguruza / Pouille or Kyrgios. Both women and both men are in the same 8th of the draw, part of a quarter of a draw that I believe is weak and could result in a surprise slam SFist.

4. Favourite story you'll be following at the tournament this year?
Kvitova's continuing return from her stabbing - this is only her 3rd tournament back. Azarenka's first slam since her pregnancy. Who'll be number 1 on both the WTA and ATP tour after Wimbledon.

5. Could the 2017 Wimbledon Championships Change our view of who is leading the ATP / WTA at the moment?
Not for the ATP. Still clearly between the Fed and Nadal and a lesser extent Murray and Novak. No real challengers at any tournaments, it's just the same old people leading for the past 160 years.

Definitely for the WTA though. Looks like we have our shared leaders with Pliskova, Svitolina and Halep but if any of them win the slam then they push themselves as the overall leader. Also though, if someone comes out of nowhere and wins the slam, they push themselves in contention. Imagine Ostapenko winning back to back slams? She'd put herself in a position for front runner.

TV (finally something being aired in Australia!), https://www.bet365.com.au

Rolex? Idk.

9. What would be your Dream Final?
Fed v anyone with Fed thrashing them. Particularly against Nadal, Murray or Novak. Or Kyrgios v Tomic in a great final with Bernard winning

Pliskova v Kvitova with Pliskova narrowly winning an epic final.

10. Will this be Federer's last ever Wimbledon?
Nope.

Definitely. Its more about making WTF in my mind and Cilic, Tsonga, Kyrgios, or Pouille with a big run could suddenly make it tight at the top.

Probably the Tennis channel in the evening. Espn in the morning, if possible.

Love that WTA final idea! RE: The twitter info, what are the best twitter feeds in your opinion? I only ever find rubbish on there and retweeters getting in the way but I know there is good stuff somewhere.

Interesting about Federer's last Wimbledon if he were to win. Does the tennis channel not broadcast in the evenings? I'm not sure tennis channel is available in Europe but I like Jon Wertheim when he writes for Sports Illustrated. I'm glad I am not the only one sick of hearing about the Mcenroe vs Serena media beat-up.

Any of the women in the draw has an outside shot of the SF, the men's semi-finalists will be the "big 4," barring an injury.

Old timers continuing to thrive on grass after four of six warmups won by 30-somethings, and with the completion of a 30-something Slam if one of them wins the men's singles.

5. Could the 2017 Wimbledon Championships Change our view of who is leading the ATP / WTA at the moment?
ATP: only with a Djokovic win, but probably not. WTA: doesn't have a leader.

Being a Rao fan is one helluva drug. I'm embarrassed to admit that this Wimbledon prediction of Rao beating Federer, Djokovic and eventually Nadal is probably still not the stupidest thing I will say in honour of the man.
