LOL, beginner stringer. OP, do not give your rackets to this guy again.Wow - that's an extreme way to string the racquet.
The creator of this stringing (stringer would be an insult) has certainly strung very softly, if you look at the rubber damper, how it pushes up the last cross string.
I think he looked at the finished stringing picture and thought what a crap stringing picture Wilson has.......!
I'm sure he didn't realize that he was the fool.
You will end up with an illegal racket. String patterns cannot be denser on the outside than in the center of the racket. If you omit 2 mains and install crosses in those empty grommet those 2 crosses will be closer to the adjacent cross thereby making the racket pattern denser in those 2 areas.Hi All,
Just bought a Wilson Blade 18x20 from a local seller I just noticed that there are 16 main and 22 crosses, is this will be a huge issue.
Apart from the weaving error at the 21st Cross .....Looks like double double full hitches. One thing is because the mains now end at the head you‘ll be forced to invent another tie off or string one piece with only 1 knot at the head and throat. A real CLUSTER@#$&.
That could have been is issue to begin with. If the SS was too short the stringer would have tied off at the head. Then just used the long side to string the crosses top down using every grommet hole. It would have been better to not use the outer main grommets.i am wondering how this person count for the SS and the LS lengths
No I string my own rackets I just bought the racket from a local seller he told me he just bought this racket like a week ago and was strung by a Country Club in Austin Texas.LOL, beginner stringer. OP, do not give your rackets to this guy again.
I can do it for you in the future...cheap
Here is the photos he sent to my phone before the I met him.ah, didn't see that on the mobile - it looks now that i can see it on a bigger screen...
i am wondering how this person count for the SS and the LS lengths

Same here I normally cut out and restring I will cut it out and restring to try it out this weekend.
The club must market themselves as "Experts in producing maximum control / low launch angle/low spin racquets."No I string my own rackets I just bought the racket from a local seller he told me he just bought this racket like a week ago and was strung by a Country Club in Austin Texas.
