16x19 patterned racket vs 18x16?

I've used 16x18 (Pro Staff 6.1 Hyper Pro Staff) and a 16x15 (Steam 99s) and thought those made my forehands too "loopy" with less straight pace (maybe better described as hitting with a higher trajectory off the racket bed?). I've used a 18x20 (Prestige MP) and felt it was too dense and board-like. Because of this, I've always felt most comfortable with 16x19 models like Youtek Prestige Pro and Wilson Pro Staff 97 (the blend of easy pop and spin that I can still flatten out as needed). However, with the new blacked out PS generation coming out, the new design is only applicable to the RF97 (too heavy for me handle when I get defensive/hitting on the run shots), and the LS and ULS versions. The ULS would definitely be too light for me as I like to weigh my rackets to around 12.3 oz or 350g. I think I could work with the new Wilson Pro Staff LS specs, but the 18x16 pattern has me a little worried. Does it play more like the more open patterns or is it similar enough to the feel of a 16x19 pattern (on 95-98 sq.in. frames)? Thanks for any input.

Yep that one could be funky but try it. I got a FST 99S and came very close to dumping it. I found it to me, to be very string sensitive but I liked the feel, just not what I was delivering. But believe it, have about 20 string jobs. I found a setup that works pretty damn good. I have solid control, precision is good (naturally not a good ad my FST 99) and with it strange 18 x 17 s.p., spin creation comes a lot easier.
So what I am trying to convey, you might demo and not like it. But the right strings for you and your frame (18 x 16) may not come that easy..A lot of dating before you commit to great marriage...

18x16 plays way different that 16x19. The Blade comes in both these patterns...go hit with both for a few minutes and you'll easily see the difference.
