Have been really happy with customized TF TFight 315 Ltd 16* for over a year now, but the wanderlust has bit me again.

Everyone I know seems to be hitting with the Blade 98, and says they love it, but all four of these frames (TFight 315, Pure Strike, Blade 98, TT95) seem to have similar specs.

I'm particularly intrigued by the TT95.

Anyone have any direct comparative experience with these frames?

*18g lead - 12g at handle, 6g at 3/9. Strung with RPM Blast 17 at 54 x 51.

The tFight 315 LTD 16 is my main stick too but I have tried the other three as well:

Prince TT95- the closest in feel to the tFight. Needs a bit of lead at 12 as it is underpowered in stock form just like the tFight. Great control. Feel is a bit more muted compared to the tFight.

Pure Strike 16 x19- put it down after 10 minutes. Hated it. Very unstable. Would need a lot of customization to shine.

Blade 16x19- very different from tFight- more power, less control. Although adding tail weight may improve the control a bit.

If you swing it like you mean it, the Pure Strike absolutely destroys the ball. I'm not sure how the previous reply had stability problems. Most of the frame design in the Pure Strike is about making it stable. In my experience you can hit way off center with pretty much no twisting. That doesn't really feel good, but with enough racquet head speed, even off center hits can result in some okay shots. The Pure Strike is a very solid frame, there are no hollow or tinny feelings what-so-ever. Just pure solid ball striking.

Prince TT 95 is much more commanding in the strike than the TFight in stock form. Indeed it is capable of being played without mods. The TF on the other hand needs a lot of lead. Given you've taken this step already is recommend you try the TT 95, and mod as you see fit. I don't thinl you will be disappointed.

I have seen lots of people switching from Tfight 315 16m to the Yonex Ai98 (myself just purchased the Ai98 as well). Some reviews mention that the Ai98 has more power, and it's a good upgrade from the Tfight 315.
If you have been liking the 315, why don't give it a try?

The AI 98 has considerably more plough and power - in stock form - than the TF 315 Ltd. You need a lot of lead on the TF which results in a racquet over 12 ounces. Not a problem if you like that.

I play with the LTD but I've tried the Ai98 a couple of times in the past. The feeling is completely different, the LTD allows you to feel the ball more. The Ai98 is more muted, more powerful and it's ready out of the box. The LTD is more control oriented and needs lead.
