$170 for vapor 9.5 reissue?

Hey, it costs a lot of money to have these things made by people in exotic far away places like China.
 
These were originally $130 when they were "current" models and went as low as $95 on sale... $170? Sadly, I'll take a pass.
 
I bit the bullet and bought a pair. Say Chin Sin Lo you put me over the edge lol. After wearing them I realize they are the best fitting shoe for me since they came out in the Nike line. All the Nike shores after them are not good for me.

I'm only echoing why half of the Nike pros, who were exposed to these shoes when they were in production choose to continue to wear them to this day instead of the newer Vapors.
 
You can get them for about $130 from a major tennis retailer with coupon. It's only a matter of time before these will be closer to $100.

Which pros wear the 9.5s still outside of Dimitrov? Alcaraz wears the Vapor Pro 1s. Khachanov is wearing the 2s. Sinner is wearing the Zoom Zeros. Kygrios was in the 11s.

Pros are still wearing Vapor 9/9.5/10... Bring them back Nike

I'm going to keep this short and straight to the point. Now that Australian Open 2022 is underway, nearly all pros on the Vapor line is still wearing the old 9/9.5/10 and not the new version, which despite being the closest thing that we have, still feels like skates. Can we get something going...

I don't think they would flop if they were priced a little bit more reasonably and included some neutral colors. I honestly think they should be a permanent fixture in Nike's line. Maybe $130 retail, in between the Pro 2s and 11s. They could rebrand them the Nike Vapor Heritage or something like that. It seems like it would be win-win for Nike, unless they're concerned about them taking away sales from the 11, 12s, etc. Of course, there is an answer to that: make something better than the 9.5 Unfortunately, Nike hasn't been able to do that.

The Cage4 and GP Turbo are better shoes IMO.

I love the Vapor feel but my results are better in a heavier, more supportive shoe. And the durability...
